Today a monarch butterfly beautiful and free,
flew around my yard a bit, then came and sat by me.
We looked around together at the nature that was there
our peaceful visit shattered by an aircraft in the air.
The aircraft flew above the woods with spray across the sky
It killed the vegetation and my friend the butterfly.
It made me sad that all the things that we are victims of
not only affect humans but the butterflies above.
