US talks peace and prepares for WAR in Sudan

www.globalresearch.ca

In the worsening conflict in Sudan between the Khartoum government and the southern states that voted for independence in the January referendum, an estimated 1,500 people have been killed since the referendum and up to 150,000 people have fled their homes. Aid agencies are warning of a humanitarian disaster as the country edges towards a renewal of the two decades long north-south civil war that claimed more than two million lives.

President Barack Obama has called for a ceasefire, presenting himself as an honest broker in a conflict that is largely of US making. The humanitarian disaster

Here we go again.. TEAM AMERICA %$^$ YEAH! The world police is going to bear down on Sudan if they don't play by the US/NWO rules!
Sounds like the same rhetoric we heard before the Libya invasion..
"The government of Sudan must prevent a further escalation of this crisis by ceasing its military actions immediately, including aerial bombardments, forced displacements and campaigns of intimidation"

Or else!... Or else what?

"He (Obama) went on to threaten that “those who flout their international obligations will face more pressure and isolation, and they will be held accountable for their actions.”

How far can America be stretched? I guess they have the UN/NWO army to back them up but still... What really gets me is the picking and choosing of conflicts they want to be involved in. If your country has anything of value resource-wise, expect the US/NWO to step in if you have any issues that might affect them suckiling on your foreign resource.

Anyways, thoughts?!

America (or other countries) policing the world doesn't have to be a bad thing. sadly, all this "policing" action is for money and power, not moral reasons.

consider africa, a very sad state of affairs has existed there for a long time. poverty, disease, and corrupt dictators abound. why don't we go and help? because we stand to gain very little.

Agreed! What is really sick is the American people will mostl likely re-elect the Idiot! Sorry, Nobel Peace winning Idiot! I fully beleive that Obama is just a puppet for the real PTB but, one way tos top the cycle of stupidity is to elect someone who is going to stand up for American value, beliefs and ITS citizens, not the needs of the UN or NWO!

Yup! I think there are certain times when intervention is not only necessary but we would be morally obliged to do so! however, it should be for strictly humanitarian purposes without the intent of taking resources or putting in puppet governments. I would argue that the sad state of affairs in Africa can be blamed (at least in part) to colonialism in the past when euro powers raped and pillaged the country for gold, diamonds and other precious resources (including people!)

Let them visit. I for one am not afraid, don't know about anyone else. By force that means people need to mass in DC and forcibly remove those who have violated the constitution and abused their office. If this means violence, then so be it!

I think I generally agree.
the world is filled with nasty places...the west looks to parts of the world and notes wholesale slaughter of people...the gut instinct is to intervene, however, doing so wherever injustice is present will rapidly decrease our effectiveness and stick us with one hell of a bill.

So, what is the solution then? let brutality and horror rule these nations? sadly, that may in fact be the answer. if we must intervene, carpet bomb these places with small wireless net devices and let the people organize their own revolution themselves. people are supressed only because they lack coordination to unite and overthrow...and "bombing" a nations civilian population with blackberrys and such would be a hell of alot cheaper than even a minor "peacekeeping" mission.

But for now, the biggest positive contribution we could make on the world stage is to return back to the country everyone wants to be like...stop the war machine, refocus our resources on making this country shine, bring back good jobs, produce good movies, etc...and become just the humanitarian and a -defense- force.

The only conflicts we should be engaging in is anything that directly effects NATO countrys...otherwise, well, the world needs to sort itself out without papa america
If someone invades england, france, or the like...sure, grab the gun and get going, otherwise..well, be a role model, not a cop.

This is done through the voting process.

Follow your thinking for a moment...ok, you storm washington...remove the whole lot, from first term congressman to the potus...
then what?
Well? then what? who makes sure the roadworks get paved, or that a ton of other programs that keep america running continues to function?

So, we have elections...and the people whom step up...well, some like the ideas, some don't...so you go with majority rule sort of thing on who goes on ahead.

Then your right back to the same issue...the majority vote in some that the vocal minority don't like...what then? the minority storm again and remove because they don't like the direction?

Voting is how its done...if you don't like the people in office, get the word out of a different way...get support, get backing, and run yourself to change what you see is the problem.

If you can't win a race legit...train harder, don't simply shoot those whom did win...this is how civilization remains civil.

It's amazing how our population judges morality. When a rep sends lewd pictures to a porn star, we demand he resign. When the leader of our country violates the constitution, puts us on the verge of financial collapse and serves only the interest of the elite money hoards, we accept it and go on. Americans need to get their heads out of their as*! We should expect and demand more from the person chosen by the people to lead us, not accept what is being done to us. Our forefathers did not use elections, they used force because diplomacy failed. how are we any different? Our constitution states that it is our duty to replace a government that ceases to serve it's people. Has ours not gone past that point? Maybe you are a drone of TPTB sent here to spread the "love thy neighbor" mentality knowing rebellion is not far off the horizon?

What a deception Obama has turned out to be. Not entirely surprising as it was obvious from the beginning that he wouldn't be able to deliver on most of his promises, but still... I wouldn't have thought he's such a warmonger. The war drums are beating louder by the day. It's clear that something is in the making and it aint looking good. Perhaps, we'll soon have bigger sorrows than the economic crisis.

The last time the world was in such a state, WWII appeared. In order for world governments to once again be profitable, war must break out globally. It's coming!

the NWO of today will die when the 16-18 year olds get into power...it will change. we have been lied to for far too long, too much of what happens in this world is kept from our eyes...If its the only place we have to be at this moment in time then we deserve to know whats going on 100% atleast they Arnt hiding this war from us, id consider this WW4 if it actualy is considered a WW because the # thats happened in the middle east in the past bit has been pretty much a World war...

Definition:

noun
world wars, plural:
1.A war involving many large nations in all different parts of the world. The name is commonly given to the wars of 1914–18 and 1939–45, although only the second of these was truly global.

Only WW2 was global...That means aslong as the US and Canada are involved with the nations around the attacker, its a World war.

Sudan is boring, when are we going to start a war with Canada?
Enough with the middle east already, let's ignite hate in other parts of the world too

I agree, but most will call that doom thinking and unreasonable. They need to be confronted with it actually happening for them to believe it really is another world war. To me, it feels that the coming war will be initiated by the West and in particular the US. The main motive being to avert attention from the coming collapse of the financial system. Drafting the boys would be an effective way of dealing with social unrest while war provides the green light for extraordinary measures - at times of war, debts don't matter too much. In the end we'll get a new financial system that grants even more power to those who bear responsibility for this in the first place.

That's merely my humble and speculative opinion. I should add that I don't believe the US will actually go to war with Sudan, but the speed at which the war drums beat is remarkable.

Truthfully USA wont attack canda because Europe would attack them right back, were your "Apoited babysitter" by brittan, France, and the rest of the UK, If they get involved Germany and there neighbors will get involved witch usauly when the father land descides to defend something the motherland (Russia) takes a close look at it and if they see a chance to overthrow the states with europe, they will if they do, then the chinese are interested in helping destroy USA also, then so is there nieghbors and then you get Talaban and things going, mmm i guess we can "help" canada and the rest of the world so we have less of a threat from the states...think in the future and who we were friends with first, who we are ancestors of and who respects us more than you.

I dunno about that... Lets just say that the US deems Canada as not being able to manage its resources properly and invades (through a kinetic/humanitarian method).... As much as I would like to beleive that UK/France/etc would come to our aid... I highly doubt it! Who in their right mind would in euro would go against the mighty USA especially when US money is basically the only thing keeping the so called 'world economy crisi' in check? I would argue that if that happenned, Canada would be more of a battleground between the US and China/Russia... it would be a land/resource grab..
