when you look back in history most era's that were unstable had they're almost mythical people, who weather real or not have taken on a greater meaning as time has passed, Robin hood, King Arthur and Guy Fawkes are classic examples. maybe two, three hundred years from now this dog will be remebered in Greece with the same reverance...

Its like its almost another human protesting with all the others.
Its like the dog knows what is going on.

Unfortunatly Kanellos (Cinnamon) passed away a few years ago, but he was addopted and lived the rest of his life in a home, with some people who looked after him in his final years.

He is a true legend.

Edit- this video may leave a little something in your eye......

I read on the youtube comments that some say he's still around. Probably a different dog. There are many strays in Greece. Maybe it's one of his offspring. Taking off in his daddies steps.

edit again, this is a comment on the youtube video which I posted.

"The newer Kanellos look-alike is Thodoris, more commonly called Louk, and is thought to be one of Kanellos' pups."

very cool dog.
reminds me of the story of the Akita that would wait at the train station in Japan waiting for his owner that had passed away.
What great loyalty

It is so weird how Kenellos knew who the good guys were. I loved it when he bit the cops foot.
That dog was fearless!
