In this quote he is merely asking why it is accepted that evolutionary theory somehow rules out the possibility of a divine source.

[" when in truth we as human beings are the manifest variable of the supreme value"]

Please notice "in TRUTH" and "the MANIFEST".

The evolution of the universe, including ourselves as (potentially) self aware conscious beings, makes this truth about origins and manifestations, the one uncontestible FACT of our existence. As evolved beings we are manifestations of the unmanifest, a chip off the very OLD block, how can this be avoided and therefore not be considered a "truth"?

If consciousness is taken as foundational within a monastic idealism (consciousness, not matter is primary), union or communion with our source becomes, not merely a curiosity or a philosophical postulate, but a deep and fundamental human imperative, to know ourselves and our place as we really are, in increasingly perfect congruent alignment with our source which, just like us as evolved beings, isn"t a "thing" but a who and also one that is intimately available to us as our true self, at last knowing the truth which sets us free in eternity, at one with God, as intended, the whole of it all shared, in mutuality, in koinonia.

Please dear atheists, do not inhibit this pursuit i implore you.

P.S. Only a monastic idealist position can satisfactorily resolve all the quantum paradoxes, making of reality itself what's called a tangled hierarchy, or in older terminology a kingdom, not of our socio-political matrix, which is a fallen kingdom, but instead a kingdom from 'above', or from a first/last cause in eternity, an alpha and omega of existence, a rock of all ages founded in truth, justice and righteousness and, praise God, unending love the will always to forgive and embrace, if we would but come to our senses and embark upon a return journey to our fathers house.
