Large Ehec outbreaks at dog show At least 50 people may have been affected
Infectious ehec bacteria affected dog exhibitors in Norrköping. At least 50 people are believed to have been infected by the bacteria. - We believe that it has come from food but we are working hard to investigate the source, "says Britt Åkerlind for Infectious Disease Control Unit in West Yorkshire.

This is alarming that over 50 person got it from the same place, and what i have heard that even animals such as dogs can get ill from EHEC and spread it to other animals/humans.

Norrköping got a population of 83 561 (31 december 2005)

Good find. All this outbreak now a days is getting a bit scary.

Still I probably wouldn't worry to much about it as it is only a single place and all people sick probably ate the same food there. Maybe they imported foods from Germany? Anyhow being from Sweden the Govmn't reacts fast to disease spread risks there. But still, I always keep close watch on Swedish news, my mom still lives there
