Although many people think that China will be the next superpower,
With great power comes great responsibility................this is not the
way to begin that journey.

A string of blistering reports, high-level arrests and promises to tighten the law have shed new light on the murky world of government corruption in China.

Its not surprising. they have had pretty rapid growth and alot of money has flown into the country. Given all that money and how some part of the economy are set up: IE the PLA runs multiple industries. corruption was enevitable.

The fact that we are hearing about some of Chinas corruption scandals indicates that their government is opening up a bit and is very slowly turning towards some form of democracy. I think that corruption has always been very high in China with their political leaders. All communist countries are riddled with corruption, who is to stop them. Money has the ability to corrupt all. The more you have the more you want.
