i just found this article on the cryptomundo website, which talks about a press release to announce a scheduled news conference with "most convincing evidence of bigfoot" to date.

obviously with these things you have to take them with a pinch of salt, we have often heard of similar type stories in the past and have always been a letdown.

what also makes me a little skeptical is, that instead of being released by mainstream scientists in front of the worlds media, it is being released by a paranormal society.. probably to the alternative media and websites like the one i got the article from.

Interesting. I can say that much.
Honestly, my hopes are not currently too high about this being the most convincing evidence. Regardless of that, I am still intrigued.

Not sure if you noticed this or not, but in the comments under the article in your link.

BREAKING NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What the heck is all the excitment about.....What, Sasquatch left his hand prints on Jeff's truck with also a impression of the mouth and tongue!!! WHAT!!!!! Sasquatch also left a full upper body impression with the face and head which show's a eye, nose and mouth!!! Better listen to this.....SasquatchWatch

Watch live streaming video from spsradio at livestream.com

LivestreamETA- This LiveStream Link seems to just be to the homepage, but there is a video on the 'SasquatchWatch'↑↑ page. That is also where I got this link from, but I can't watch it at the moment.

I clicked it, but my connection hasn't been too great this morning, and hasn't loaded yet, but apparently it is a recorded streaming video/radio broadcast made by Jefferey Gonzalez the top man at the Sanger Paranormal Society, recorded on the 2nd June 2011.

What a coincidence, Bigfoot researchers are the ones who discovered it. That right there pretty much confirms it's a hoax. People looking for something will eventually find it. Even if it's something totally different.

That is a silly way to look at it.

Here is an example. Let's say that you and me are both walking through the woods. You are just casually looking forward, off in the distance. I am looking down at the ground directly in front of me with each step that I take. I am looking for mushrooms.

Which of us has better odds of finding a mushroom?
you or me?

I believe this. I used to live in CA. One of the guys they are referring to (the principal) has to be David Raygosa. Not only did I meet him once, but we went on a BF search high in the Sierras outside Fresno. Dave has been into sasquatch for years and has done it at considerable risk to his professional life as a principal. Had he not been so highly regarded andd awarded as a principal (in a tough district), he'd have been run out of town.

He is a great guy. Quiet. Kind. Patient. Enthusiastic, but methodical and not given to sensationalism. He is a great dad too.

The long day when we went out, were heard some wood knocking. We were WAY far away from even usual backbackers or hikers. Way deep into the mountains using barely passable fireroads (and that's in 4x4s). If this was the area, I am certain they are there. Before going out, Dave showed me lots of the information he had gathered himself from years hunting. Lots of interesting things, but none that'd convince the public.

One other thing I can say about Dave. That guy is an excellent shot with a handgun. I don't remember the one he carried, except that it was huge and made to be able to take down a bear. Though I'm a veteran and good shot with a rifle, I had had very little experience with large handguns (shot a desert eagle a few times) and I had great difficulty just hitting a tree we were sighting from about 30 feet. He was able to pull a tight shot group quickly.

Congratulations Dave.

Most of these guys that do this for years have adopted technigues and methodologies that are scientific. I don't necessarily discount them because they are not formal scientists. Some these days also ARE formal scientists, as the evidence has slowly begun to pile up and the stigma is being reduced.

Plus, as my previous post made clear, I think one of these guys is Dave Raygosa. If it is, I fully believe it. Dave is one of those people you nearly immediately trust. He is not boastful or shallow. He, though being ridiculed repeatedly for his passion, invited me (someone he did not know) on one of his excursions. I had read about him -- an award-winning principal with a unique hobby -- and reached out. I drove 2 hours to meet him at his modest home very early in the morning, which he warmly welcomed me into. He was generous, but also serious about his passion. His integrity is everything, which has allowed him not to loose his job. NO WAY would he ever hoax anyhting. My guess is he is less than enthusiastic about going public with this, but is being prodded by BFRO. Dave is a high profile guy in his community. He does not need or want to draw attention.

I am a good judge of character. I'd trust him if my life depended on it.

to be honest a bigfoot researcher would be more likely to find one than anyone else.. because they are out actively looking for these creatures.
they have also researched the subject and know exactly what evidence to look for.. its what they do.. the same way a detective looks for criminals.. its not a coincidence when they catch one though..

I hate to say it, but only way someone will believe if one is hunted and shot, and a corpse is airlifted out of the site. If it does exist, wouldn't that be the greatest discovery yet ?... A new species of man....

What frustrates me is the lack of adventure and exploration. Thats what we need to get back. It seems to have faded in society today.

I'll believe it when they have an actual body.

Last time we had that hoax bigfoot costume.

I know if I had ground breaking news on a new species found I would think of nowhere but the Picadilly banquet hall in Fresno to unveil my findings to the world...

I'm all for bigfoot being real, but can't these people find a more credible setting? Like, hell, even the local community college would be a little more academic.

Do you know him as well Misterlondon? If you do than you'll agree then at the very least whatever he has to present is worth taking a look at with an open mind. We went places where even the rangers seldom go. Over the course of about 6 hours after we got deep into the park we saw nor heard a soul until around dusk when we went to a small meadow with a lake where a couple was camping. Very beautiful an formidable country with lots of large bears and mountain lions (which are becoming more aggressive). Dave wore the side arm not for the sasquatch, which he believes are shy and gentle, but for the big cats.

In parts there are lots of berries and game. David's game cameras, which he had put out the previous week and we retrieved, showed ample game as well. At one point we hiked up beyond where our 4x4s could not go and headed up the back side (north side) of a mountain. It was summer time an around 4PM at that point. We heard some strange, but distant wood knocking and at one point we all thought we heard a far away howl across the valley to the east and up the mountains.Very eery sound to me, though Dave was not surprised. This was an area where he had had multiple B type (sounds) encounters. His philosophy is that by his going up there rep[eatedly to the same spots year after year, he hoped the hidden residents would grow accustomed to him and that ultimately their natural curiosity would grant him A encounters if he was just persistent and patient. I suppose that is as good as any theory.

They lost me on the very first line of the media release. The Patterson film is a hoax. It's been a known hoax for many years now. Even the guy that wore the suit admits it was a fake. I'm all for the existance of any number of creatures, but technology has advanced to a point where it's becoming harder and harder to justify the lack of a body or real photo. These creatures could very well have lived and have now become extinct, but a face print on a vehicle window won't be convincing proof to me.

Awesome! Hopefully we can see the evidence soon and this doesnt turn into a situation where we have to wait a long time like the Cadborosaurus footage, (which we still have yet to see)

Cheers

Do you have a credible source for that statement? I've seen several analyses that suggest the opposite of your claim. Like the fact that the Bigfoot in the Patterson footage was female (you can see the breasts move) and the lump on one of its legs.

Searching for big foot always ended up in a dead end.

You need to search for Yowie in Auzzie instead.

Actually The Patterson film is not a hoax - and has never been proven to be. In fact, quite the opposite - biologists, scientists and hollywood SFX experts have nearly all declared the footage as a genuine unknown creature.

The "Patterson Footage Is A Hoax' story came from an attention seeking family with an axe to grind, that was so poorly researched by the press it was pathetic.

So, no - I'm afraid you are very wrong with your assertions.
