I realy feel for the average greek national,id say around 90% of greeks dont want whats happening too them,so why are the goverment going against their wishe's,because the goverments set up against the people, this is the result of massive debt coupled with mass immigration which has spiraled out of control just before the crisis and immigrants are also day and night rioting,no go area's for greeks, you will notice not much in the way of reporting on this in uk,cant speak for anywhere else but i surmise that its the same everywhere else, the greeks dont want rothschild controlled banking and their cartel, any solution will have the greeks selling their whole country for no profit, just to pay their debts and at the end of that still have too pay more debts that cannot ever be repaid,in a nutshell they loose all their power at the stroke of a pen or computer stroke, ironic

i hope the greek spirit returns to greece and they kick goverment and banker butt

I hear where you are coming from... I really hope positive change is coming your way and soon.. but I am deeply worry about this massive sell off.. I live in a part of Southern England where the port down the road from me was sold to foreign interests in the 1980s.. and in 30 years they have yet to make any of the promised investment in the failing infrastructure..

While they still constantly attempt to black mail the people i.e they'll close the port to all traffic if they don't get what they want... The selling off of public property without decent consultation with the people is not right as all it does is benefit the few and the rich who pick up a bargain at the tax payers expense.

I am disgusted at what they are trying to strong arm Greece into selling off.

House has been built for decades, but they just never got around to put the front porch in. The Greeks have made a science out of paying no taxes and living off the state. At some point the thing has to implode on itself.

As far as the Eurozone, most Greeks would rather be out of the Eurozone. Anything that keeps rich Europeans (particularily Russians) from coming in and buying property is a good thing as far as they're concerned.

Why is paying taxes a good thing? It’s a bad thing. You’re only paying them to the Illuminati scum to use them against your interests.

If Greeks pay no tax as you say, why has this trouble hit them only now? The UK owes 466% of GDP where as Greece owes 150%. The USA owes over 4 times per capita what Greeks owe. Yet these countries pay tax, right?

Screw taxation. The Americans fought a war with the British over it in 1776.

If you ask me how to pay for medical care and road works and other amenities, I’ll tell you there are many ways other than tax – toll ways, private health insurance that is government owned – not private, no way private. I work for such a company in Australia – a government insurance scheme for injured workers. We cater for 5 million people’s medical costs, lost wages and other work related financial burdens and yet make over $600 million profit for the government annually.

One more time – SCREW TAX! It’s communism and tyrannical anyway.

NWO is happening right now,we'll see more events such as this,I hate government but they are not stupid, they know that by pushing people there will be riots and people will have enough, people will eventually remove government and what will happen next? - instead of rulers, 100+ politics in every country there will be just one Global Government and we ''the people'' will be the tool.

Don't know for sure but it's just how I see it

Its the people that caused this.

The government is pressured by people, namely these street thugs rioting and endangering lives to continue providing social programs that allow them to sit on their asses all day doing nothing. When enough political pressure is applied, the government caves into the peoples demands.

Social welfare pays people to sit around doing nothing. They suckle at the teats, taking money for nothing while the economy stagnates and eventually collapses. Rampant socalism and fiscal irresponsibility are to blame.

There is not great NWO conspiracy here, just gross mismanagement. Some is to blame on the government for not having stronger backbones, most is to blame on the people who think they are entitled to monthy social assistance cheques while doing nothing to contribute to society or the economy as a whole.

If the government give in to people, they WILL default and it might cause a domino effect destroying the European economy as a whole.

And the other European countries pay for it. They first paid to bail Greece out. And every day when nobody works in Greece, the costs will ultimately will also be paid by other countries. Stop the endless loans.

I wouldn't say they gave money out since greece's loans from the I.M.F. is at $145 billion at 5,5% per year were as Ireland received $100 billion at 5.8% per year, now if you like you can go ahead and do the math's to see for yourself.

But a quick insight as to how is everything is in brief is more or less written up here.

All of this changed quickly when European leaders unveiled the permanent bailout mechanism making clear that starting in 2013 the private sector will assume a large share of the future bailout costs. After the announcement, investors sold their holding of Portuguese and Spanish debt en masse, sending the cost of funding debt in these countries higher, and fueling rather than preventing a contagion.

Oh you seem to have touched something wicked, now interesting enough, if you ask any person in greece from the age of 10 right up to 100 regarding the mark of the beast they will tell you exactly that those time's are not happening in the future but are happening right now, as we speak, as we type.

A group of 50 or 100 do not represent the majority of what the ideology of these protest is all about. Besides i have been watching the news on sat t.v. and the reporting was as accurate as me saying that the U.S. is being attacked by Malta, the media reported such insurances that i am amazed that noone reacted to the crap being allowed to air as news. What happened yesterday was in a way a typical riot within greece, it really isn't a knew or out of ordinary thing to see or be in. On the other hand, the riots during Christmas two years ago, now they were literally riots, were looting, burning and general chaos was a constant day and night thing for about two weeks. You need to keep in mind that since greece is the center of attention due to the domino effect if it decides to default and the possibility of it bringing down the euro then it stands to reason that if and when greece farts, its considered breaking news.

Social welfare pays people to sit around doing nothing. They suckle at the teats, taking money for nothing while the economy stagnates and eventually collapses. Rampant socalism and fiscal irresponsibility are to blame.

Statistics show that the Greeks work far more hours and with less pay in comparison to other member states, so i am kinda confused as to how you come to your conclusion.

This is exactly how the so called N.W.O. operate, if you want further information research Siemens and its dealings within greece and other euro country's.

If the government give in to people, they WILL default and it might cause a domino effect destroying the European economy as a whole.

Lets see how well the euro will do if and when Greece decides to pull out of the euro currency fall back on the drach, sure it will take a massive blow but hey, at least you wont be under the thumb of the bank cartel and some central euro guy has no vested interest in your nation other than to milk you dry.

Take a look at a few of Dolphinfan posts. He actually lived in Greece and Athens, so yeah. Ill take his word over yours of the medias.

I especially recommend you looking at his post about halfway down page 2. Very insightful and certainly does indicate that a lot of Greeks are milking the socialist system which is at the root of the problems they face today. When a large portion of your population chooses to not work and instead take government handouts, your economy stagnates and governments are forced to run huge deficits to pay for their welfare state.

For a good example of this, look to Spain and Ireland. Very similar problems. The people there have had it too good for too long and are now paying the price. Life isnt free.

You my friend have NO idea how governments work or run.

No taxes? You talk about how health care should be exclusively government run, but then ask that they tax nothing? Wtf? Where is this money going to come from? Your exactly the kind of leader that gets a country into messes like this. Think about it:

Your running for Prime Minister of Greece. One of your campaign promises is free health care for all, with no added taxload. The ONLY way this can be acheived is borrowing money. So, you go to the IMF and run massive annual budget deficits to pay for your little scheme.

This goes on for a time until your debt load is so huge, interest payments are impossible to make. You default, credit rating soar for your country and your plunged into a recession at best, bankrupted at worst.

Do you not see? When people refuse to work and milk a socialist system that pays people to do nothing, no tax revenue is brought in. This hurts your economy.

You can say all you want about setting up toll bridges, roads and other fees, but all you are doing is gaining revenue in a different manner. It could be argued this is NO different from taxation and it really isnt.

I suggest economics 101.

Sorry for the multiple posts but i had to respond specifically to this last line.

Yes, if they pulled out and defaulted it would solve their problems for about 1 hour.

So, Greece now has no debt load, and relies on their own banks alone. Great! Sounds good, but this does not solve the fact the government is running massive deficits to pay for the social programs people are rioting over.

Now, not being able to go the the IMF for more loans, the only options they have are these:

1. Balance the budget in 1 year. This will prevent them from doing their only other option, print money.

2. Print money to pay for the social programs. This creates massive, runaway inflation, especially in a country with an economy as small as Greeces.

They are screwed. Their ONLY choice is make very tough cutbacks that will not be popular. Many people are going to have to get off their asses and actually become productive.

governments work and run when the people are motivated to contribute. I am no longer motivated to contribute to mine. Maybe if I got something back I'd feel different, but since I don't, I will contribute nothing. Even more so, since the government's meddling always results in poison in my life, I'll go out of my way to waste their resources and diminish their presence in my life in any way possible. These aren't government's anyways, they are slave driving tyrannies.

I guess everyone is so fixated on the I.M.F. and the Euro that they have failed to realize that they are not the only ones who are able to loan and loan with a smaller interest rate. Regardless of what you think, NATO is also concerned with this crisis as greece has already cut back on its budget towards nato and surely enough other nations on following in that direction and since were on the topic, guess who is viewing all this mess from abroad. ?. So if Greece does fold it does not mean its the end of the world as the media and as you have posted, keep in mind it will get tough for this country but it will allow it to breathe and open new corridors to new markets that otherwise were restricted due to E.U. laws. Even president Obama realized the severity of how fast this could escalate and effect other member states since it's blatantly obvious that the centralized european idea of motorization and restrictions placed upon weaker member states has ultimately failed. Every Action has an Equal and Opposite Reaction.
