i think any time you invest in something other than a consumable item that has no return, you're doing yourself a favor. however, i read a book written in 1958 in which the man said the USA would become a third world nation and that the dollar, silver and gold would lose all value and the only thing that'd retain value would be real estate. (not the real estate market, just the land itself). the problem is, since we don't really own land anymore, merely lease it from china and world bankers via the IRS tax (socialism) system, even that's a floaty idealistic object in make believe land right next to the dollar and the stock market. of course, some of us are already acclimated to the idea that we don't honestly own anything, as we are temporarily having a walk about in an environmental hazard suit

Silver and Gold has been used for a trading currency for 5000+ YEARS...

Any idea what silver is used in? Almost every electronic you own these days... Huge in Solar Panels as well...

They only care about returns.....it matters not one razzu if 10 or 100 or 1000 people get layed off....but as long as a profit is turned,...that is all that matters.....

Over the last 10yrs.....10's of thousands of jobs have been lost...transfered overseas....investors have made a fortune at the expense of the good people made redunent....

Remember investors don't care about you or me.....

that doesn't change a thing! the guy down the street doesn't care about me either, neither do many people on the other side of the planet. in fact, i'm pretty darn sure, most people on ATS don't either, cause i've heard them call for all kinds of inequalities against people of my gender, station in life, racial background, and religion! so telling me some guy who doesn't care about me in new york is certainly not a surprise. i'm not condoning ripping off people and some of the other stuff that's being going down lately, just pointing out that stock holders are holding the lifeblood of americans in their hands. if they pull their investments out of stocks just to spite the company, it's the people who lose their jobs.

I agree if your on limited budget, get food and seeds first, then get guns/ammo to protect what you do have... then I would suggest going into precious metals after you have enough survival supplies...

Believe me I know how it is on a limited budget... but all it takes is some willingness to cut back on the materialistic crap people normally spend their money on... for example, shut off your damn cell phone/tracking devices and buy 2 oz of silver with that monthly bill, or buy 30+ varieties of heirloom seeds, a week or 2 worth of food... Same with cable... wtf do you need to pay for entertainment for? The internet has all you should need

FIAT currency throughout history has only lasted a max of 40 years, and we are going to be hitting the 40 year mark in the next few months... just food for thought

If I had stocks, I would for sure take that "money" and buy real assets with it... food(which is hitting massive inflation), water, ammo/guns, or silver/gold and heirloom seeds

okay, let me explain:

a scenario: let's imagine a smaller company that makes parts for several other companies. its biggest buyer is a big corp that does some not so nice things with the parts at some juncture (at least, according to environmental standards). it doesn't ask the big corp what it does with the parts, it just sells the parts. this smaller company is in a small town and is the sole employer of workers for many hundreds of miles in every direction. the EPA comes in and forces the big corp to pay big bucks to modify its process to meet standards. it does so but passes the costs on by charging more for the final product it produces and offering less to the smaller company that makes ONE of its parts. this has a snowball effect in which large groups of people are making due with less and less money. eventually, as things really heat up, economically (as the EPA and other socialist orgs go around wreaking havoc on capitalism), some upstarts come along with some sanitized pie-in-the-sky idea that destroying capitalism will cure everything, and you can add an even bigger FEDeral government dole. it's a vicious cycle.

things I can see already:
this was filmed inside a tunnel.
I know this to be a tunnel for 4 reasons.

1) there are support braces every 50 feet
on the walls.

2) there are no stars which means there's a roof.

3) there are small pools of water where the roof has leaked
yet no visible signs of rain.

4) there are drainage pipes for rain control on the left which
run from ceiling to sidewalk.

This tunnel appears to be British Design from
around 1930's - 40's. How do I know this?

1) The high level ledges are of the era.

2) The walls are small bricks not solid concrete

3) The walls are also horizontally straight instead
of concave.

I believe this tunnel to be originally designed
for a Rail Line not a highway. How do I know this?

1) The tunnel is not wide enough for 2 lanes. One way.

2) height of the roof

The anon guy in the video appears to be walking down
a small grade. How do I know this?

1) the lights outside the tunnel at the far end start
going down instead of keeping the same elevation
as the lights in the tunnel.

I believe this video to be filmed in England.
How do I know this?

1) The walkway and the bicycle path are always
on the outside of traffic. The lights at the far end
of the tunnel are closer to the road on the left than
on the right. Meaning there is another lane on the
other side to the right as you exit this tunnel
from behind this anon guy.

2) the Arch doorways on the left and right are
also Victorian design

3) the road obstacle on the bicycle path is of
British design, not American.

There are drops in the sidewalks on the left
and right at different locations meaning there
are entrances to other tunnels accessible by
vehicle. Lowering the sidewalk allows vehicles
to turn left and right without jumping over the
curbing.

Now I need your help to find out where this was
filmed. If anon is coming to us from Britain,
