Yep, I saw this coming several years ago.
That is the reason I left the telecommunications industry and got as many Network Certs as I could.
I positioned myself with a Company that I researched and the job is one that should be around for many many years.
Saw the Telecomm vendor companies going south, and letting people go left and right.
Now days, the most valuable person is he with the most knowledge.
Construction, as my understanding, is a huge "feast or famine" industry. Once building went down, the need for telecom install went down.
Been prepping for a year or so now. Trying to advise family to do the same.
