OK first off the bat dont waste your time asking me for pictures or proof because i dont have any. All i have is this account of what happened......
Pine Gap is the commonly used name for a satellite tracking station at 23°47′56″S 133°44′13″E / 23.799°S 133.737°E / -23.799; 133.737, some 18 kilometres (11 mi) south-west of the town of Alice Springs in the centre of Australia which is operated by both Australia and the United States. The facility has become a key part of the local economy.
It consists of a large computer complex with eight radomes protecting antennas and has over 800 employees. It is officially called the Joint Defence Facility Pine Gap since 1988, previously it was known as Joint Defence Space Research Facility. It is believed to be one of the largest ECHELON ground stations and appears to be physically and operationally similar to the American signals intelligence facilities at Buckley Air Force Base, Colorado and Menwith Hill, United Kingdom. United States government personnel at Pine Gap are believed to be mostly from the National Security Agency and subordinate service-associated agencies as well as the Central Intelligence Agency.
I was told specifically not to post this info on Farcebook as this person knows i can be quite political on public forums. They however didnt mention anything about ATS. granted they dont even know about the existence of this site so its rather a moot point.

Here's another one that looks massive inside and you could compare it to a hollowed out mountain i guess -
Apex Energy Mine (Now Closed) in the Blue Mountains - West of Sydney
Google Earth - 34° 3'16.04"S 150°26'48.84"E
From the air or even walking around you would not know anything was beneath your feet but then look at that map, it's massive!
I know of a base in Melbourne that stretches out a long way underground. It would be the prime target for a nuke so there's no question about why it's there.

You mention Elenin in conversation in the context of something other than a whimpy comet that may not even be visible... and anything else you have to say gets a taint on it. IMHO. WTF does a simple comet have to do with this discussion?
