Wow! As the guy describes, this was an accidental shot. Amazing if real, I think it is but the gnat is so darn small!! How did that guy nail it so fast? Awesome, in my mind. I think we have so much still to learn from our insect neighbors!

NoWAY!

Gnat got what was comming imho.

Wow when it was fast it looked like he was just flying away but in slow mo you can see it was more like he started to fly away then he saw that bug and thought "heeeeeyyyy *gulp* and to think I almost missed that" then buzzes off. That was a damn fast meal lol

I wish I had mad skills like this. Makes me even more impressed my five year old caught one the other day.

Just thought i would post the youtube link as well, since i couldnt figure out how to watch it in HD on liveleaks, and it was hard to see the details in SD (for me).

Probably a connection problem between the ground and the keyboard, but hey, these things happen

Thanks for that! I love how it was accidental and imperceptible to the naked eye.

Looks like these damsel flies are just as fast in their water larva form. This was a main course I believe, no slow mo but its fast.

Yeah, it is really a cool video!

Things like that are quite difficult to capture intentionally, thats for sure. Pretty amazing, the intricacy of things.

Thank you for posting the vid
