Government 'may have hacked IMF'

www.bbc.co.uk

Hackers who broke into the International Monetary Fund's computer system may have been backed by a nation state, according to security experts.

They point to the sophisticated nature of the attack and the resources needed to develop it.

it was "a targeted attack" with code written specifically to give a nation state a "digital insider presence" on the IMF network.

"Any attack that shows money, time and resources went on it points to a state attack. States and their intelligence agencies have

A few times I had mentioned that I believe Wikileaks to be Mossad and Anon to be CIA.

E-terrorism is a path where you can blame an organization for the attack by simply pointing your finger in a particular direction.
But it's not about pointing your finger towards wikileaks or anon as much as it is pointing towards an initiative.

So far the biggest news lately was not Govt. declaring wikileaks or Anon as e-terrorists, the biggest news was the Pentagon saying cyber attacks are acts of war!

The immeasurable amount of potential false flags, an elitist's wet dream come true.

Not a chance, it was Anonymous, or wikileaks, or some other well known group of hackers.

Give it time, and evidence to prove this will be forthcoming.

It is always government behind all attacks anywhere, but fear not.
Citizens will die for this.

It is a spiffy cover story though isn't it?

Ah, but this one was the Chinese.... They are far better at covering their tracks than the boys and girls at the CIA, and other government's "intelligence agencies".

If you really knew what the Chinese are up to, and ultimately planning to do, you'd all panic... Literally.

Panic?
That is what irrational people do when they cannot find a direction.
There is nothing any man could do to me to cause me to panic.
Do what you can and secure all avenues you can, if that is not good enough, have a tall one and die like a cowboy!
Only a fool swims against the oceans tide.

Enlighten us.

For a substantial fee I'd be happy to.

Seriously, it's just an 'educated' guess.... Why spoil the fun?

Besides, I'd like to live long enough to see what happens.... AND, last but not least, I'm just a crazy conspiracy theorist, you wouldn't believe me, no matter how I try to "enlighten" you.

All evidence will lead to everywhere but China, and that is more than convenient, it is incredibly brilliant, even if evil and sinister intent is the ultimate motive.

They already have a 'contingency' plan in place that could make default more painful for the US, than for them.

Their not paranoid, they are preparing to be our saviors.

what Chinese debt ???
they have already dumped 97%

is the trillion dollar question.

Interesting, and to be more informed...

As of the close of business on Thursday, the total U.S. debt was $14.34 trillion, according to the Daily Treasury Statement. Of that, approximately $9.74 trillion was debt held by the public and approximately $4.61 trillion was “intragovernmental” debt.

www.cnsnews.com...

Regardless, of who "has it" .... there are trillions in debt, owed to ourselves!

That is the "achilles heel" here wouldn't you say?

China, is many things, they aren't stupid.

Well, whoever they are, they are attacking the biggest ponzi scheme in the history of the world...

But I would think false flag from our own government (made to look like someone else of course) makes the most sense.

Whatever they can do to burn the Constitution, that is what is happening.

a post i made on a different thread seems to be relevant here.

a teenager in maldives logs on to an indian university using his cousin's (a student at the university) account and manages to find logs of his cousin's activities while the latter was playing around with some hackers in tibet. the logs point to serious vulnerabilities that the tibetans have found on some servers based in an undisclosed location in china. these servers have since then been infected with trojans and backdoors and the tibetans have been using them for the past few months already. it turns out that these servers are by themselves hosting the software used by some chinese students to control pc's in the US for blog-posting purposes. now these computers in the US have also been infected with trojans from bulgaria, mostly because the owners of these computers keep on watching porn and downloading free stuff on the internet.

Actually the Chinese and Russians are impotent now and mad at us. When Microsoft/NSA got the Bios manufacturers to put kill switch options in the computer Bios......computer sovereignty/security ended. EVERYONE is scrambling to dig out their old computers with the old Bios's.

If the world knew the exact number of computers switched off by the United States in the last few months.....there would be global panic.

Find old computers and restore them....they are going to be worth their weight in GOLD soon.....

Chinese....please....I'd fear more of what data Japan collected with their gaming systems around the world.

I'm a bit suprised tbh from this site's reactions about this news. We're on a conspiracy theorist site, and no-one's even mentionned the link between this hack and the whole Strauss-Kahn case.

I mean if there would be a perfect bunch of suspicious events served on a silver plate, this would be this whole IMF affair.
