What the heck, I'll have a reading. The Occult is one of my favorite topics to research, and I know a little about Tarot (primarily the Major Arcana), but I've never had a reading done.

I'd like a reading if it is not too much of a challenge. Also, I would think that a Tarot Card reading should only be done when the person is present so that you are able to "read" the person as well as the card. Do you find this to be true and you can only give vague readings thru this medium? Lastly, I am interested in reading Tarot cards and have started some research on them. Do you have any suggested readings that may help me? Thanks Woodwytch

Great thread, S&F. Just by chance i've decided to study tarrot myself recently after my mother who is also a reader passed me her cards. I've done the reading about the history of tarrot etc and im slowly learing each individual card. Im using a Rider Waite set of cards but finding it difficult to remember particular cards because of the older illistrations particularly the minor arcana. But how long did it take before you conducted your first reading may i ask? Also any chance of a daily card and should i stick with the deck i've got? Any responce will be much appreciated

What a nice gesture of you to offer this opportunity to the ATS community!

I don't know anything about Tarot reading and I have never tried it, but sometime gotta be the first, right?
So if you have the time I would very much like you to flip a card for me here in Sweden as well.
And thanks alot for giving us all the chance to participate in this (some, like me, maybe for the very first time).
