No picture, eh?

Makes it harder to believe. Draw us a picture, maybe we can identify it that way. The description so far is a tiny bit vague.

Here are some things that it would help to know:
How big? Length and width.
What color(s)?
How many legs?
Any other things that stuck out to you: eyes, odd appendages and that sort of thing.

The odd things:
-color- greenish brown
-number of legs- 5 on each side - total 10 (never seen a bug with 10 legs before so ...)
-other- 4 antenas which could move independently
-eyes- 2 redish brown in color
-size- 8-10cm length 0.75cm width ...
-location- central Romania

Hope this helps you with identifying ... because i have had no luck so far.

When he flies, two of his legs disappear? I think we're dealing with something new here...

Sorry bud, things just don't disappear. Also, it probably rode in on your back from outside when you got home. No mystery here..move along...

Wow, thanks for the further description.
Ten legs rules out insects. Rules out most species, as a matter of fact.

This may be paranormal.

Is this an invasion of people that refuse to use their freaking brains? ...

If the legs are bellow the wings why the hell should i draw them if you see the bug from above? ... geez ...

Haven't been outside today and if it came through my window while it was open it whould have been a greater mystery because i have a screen to keep insects out ..

Well it couldn't be that because the legs were clear and they moved so ... i had enough time to study it a bit so ...

But it looks like like the stonefly you posted above but add more legs and 2 more antenas ... and stretch it...

Sometimes they still get in. Trying to identify the bug - i'm with, but trying to say that it disappeared is a completely different story. Good luck with the identification

That could be it then.
The male Dobsonfly's mandibles are extremely long and may look like a second pair of antennae to an observer that isn't familiar with them.

Yeah those things fangs made me shudder. Such little things cause us "giants" to run the other way and scream in fear, yet we can...well...squash them like a bug.

I never want to see a dobson fly on my computer....*shudders*
