Are Republicans small government? No

Excellent history of the growth of government growth under Republican presidents, yes even Reagan

As great as Reagan was, he was hampered by a Democrat controlled Congress. When Reagan lowered taxes, revenues to the government quadrupled, and the Democrats couldn't spend it fast enough.

All spending starts in the House of Representatives, so pinning stuff like this on Presidents is kind of lame.

Look what happens when you get a Democrat President and a Democrat congress. Hint: You add 5 TRILLION dollars to the deficit.

Fact remains under Republicans government grows at a considerably faster pace than under Democrats. Usually with the assistance of the military industrial complex.

well one thing is for sure

the democratic party sure as hell aint the party of smaller government.

in 3 years they have bloated government to unpredicented levels in modern history.

the goverment has now over 5 million employees all footed by the taxpayer.

republicans are for a smaller government when their arent in rinos in the party.

and when there arent any social conservatives in it.

Democrats know that National Security is important to Republicans, and they take advantage of that to get their spending.

Every time Bush needed something for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, Democrats added in more spending for their other social projects. Leaving Bush no choice but to include it. This happened with Reagan with the Cold War. The pattern is there, and it is undeniable.

Don't need to watch any video to know that every single Reagan budget proposal was declared DOA (dead on arrival) by the Democrat controlled Congress. Meaning that he didn't spend enough to their liking.

I will categorize this thread as "Partisan Bickering Trolling" It can only end one way. Can't we all just realize that they are both one half of a 2 headed snake? I am sick of these hate bait threads. Get over it both political parties are corrupt in the US. They both work for corporate interests and they both expand government. Vote Ron Paul for a real change.

So he's immune to criticism because even though he still increased government spending every year voluntarily, because the Democrats added on to it?

Actually he just that much better when COMPARED to Dems,they are currently beyond redemption as are most Repubs.

What concerns me more than the Republican/Democrat nonsense...is some of you may actually believe that there is a difference?

I'd feel a lot better if some of you would say..."We know the two party system is rigged, we are here for the stars".

I love how all of the replies so far has been about how this is another 2 party hit job, yet in other posts I've indicated I'm a registered Libertarian and the video in the OP is from a Libertarian POV. Just saying.
