I have a VERY strong suspicion that the wealthiest individuals on this planet aren't on any sort of list, and that no information about them whatsoever is publicly available.

It's long been my view that the Bilderbergers are, at best, middle-men;......

My thoughts exactly.

Those "high-ups" who we can name are just middlemen or Go-fors. They are very well paid and very intelligent but they are still go-fors.

Lets start with the basics. What does a businessman (owner of a corporation) want????

1. PROBLEM: Access to abundant cheap labor AND a large customer base.
SOLUTION: Eliminate farmers and rural self-sufficient communities for the dual purpose of providing labor and customers.
EVIDENCE:

With World War II, America saw its agricultural system intentionally subjected to political policies that radically transformed it. What was once a decentralized system that provided a means to self sufficiency and independence for tens of millions of farmers was purposefully centralized into a capital-intensive fossil-fuel dependent system that restructured local economies, permitting their wealth to be extracted by what are now transnational cartels dedicated to the so-called free market and globalized trade... www.opednews.com...

Timeline of the Green Revolution

2. PROBLEM: Competition, especially lean aggressive start-up businesses.
SOLUTION: Eliminate competition by various methods. Make the excessive paperwork need for large company management mandatory for small companies too thus turning the unwieldy red-tape disadvantage of the big companies into an advantage. This is done through promoting "Quality" management systems such as ISO 9000 and through regulatory red tape.

Leveraged Buyouts and mergers are also used to wipe out the competition.
EVIDENCE:

Of mergers and acquisitions each costing $1 million or more, there were just 10 in 1970; in 1980, there were 94; in 1986, there were 346. A third of such deals in the 1980's were hostile. The 1980's also saw a wave of giant leveraged buyouts. Mergers, acquisitions and L.B.O.'s, which had accounted for less than 5 percent of the profits of Wall Street brokerage houses in 1978, ballooned into an estimated 50 percent of profits by 1988... THROUGH ALL THIS, THE HISTORIC RELATIONSHIP between product and paper has been turned upside down. Investment bankers no longer think of themselves as working for the corporations with which they do business. These days, corporations seem to exist for the investment bankers.... In fact, investment banks are replacing the publicly held industrial corporations as the largest and most powerful economic institutions in America.... THERE ARE SIGNS THAT A VICIOUS spiral has begun, as each corporate player seeks to improve its standard of living at the expense of another's.

Corporate raiders transfer to themselves, and other shareholders, part of the income of employees by forcing the latter to agree to lower wages. January 29, 1989 New York Times

...”I'm wondering if there might be a silent majority of Quality readers out there on the topic of ISO 9000. The response to my July editorial, "Eliminate ISO 9000?," was the heaviest that we have received in some time. I got lots of e-mails from readers about the piece, which reported the views of Scott Dalgleish, a quality professional who has been publicly critical of the impact of ISO 9000 on manufacturers, and has suggested that companies eliminate ISO 9000 altogether from their quality management systems.

Many of the responses were quite articulate, and some were humorous and entertaining. You can read a sampling in this month's Quality Mailbag department on p. 12.

One thing that struck me about the letters I received is that almost all expressed some level of agreement with Dalgleish, particularly on issues related to excessive ISO 9000 documentation requirements. As you'll see in the Mailbag department, one reader even said that his company has already dropped its ISO 9001 certification with no apparent negative effects.

What surprised me is that the July editorial elicited no ardent rebuttals in defense of ISO 9000...”

3. PROBLEM: National Borders, quarantine, different national regulations, regulations based on consumer beliefs...
SOLUTION: Eliminate Borders, quarantine, different national regulations, regulations based on consumer beliefs...

This was done through the use of treaties such as the World Trade Organization.
EVIDENCE:

From FDA website in 2008

International Harmonization

“The harmonization of laws, regulations and standards between and among trading partners requires intense, complex, time-consuming negotiations by CFSAN officials. Harmonization must simultaneously facilitate international trade and promote mutual understanding, while protecting national interests and establish a basis to resolve food issues on sound scientific evidence in an objective atmosphere. Failure to reach a consistent, harmonized set of laws, regulations and standards within the freetrade agreements and the World Trade Organization Agreements can result in considerable economic repercussions...” www.cfsan.fda.gov...

“...In a sweeping move that has garnered surprisingly little attention this week the United States and the European Union have signed up to a new transatlantic economic partnership that will see regulatory standards “harmonized” and will lay the basis for a merging of the US and EU into one single market, a huge step on the path to a new globalized world order....” The BBC reported (news.bbc.co.uk...) from the Summit in Washington on Monday: stopspp.com...

2001 Issues for the Agricultural Talks and WTO Trade Round:

“The un-scientific so-called “precautionary principle” is unfortunately being successfully and constantly misused as justification to immobilize science and its applications, as well as to confuse the public....

...The internationalization of the food chain demands that identification, registration, tracking and tracing systems also become internationalized....

After 31 years with Monsanto, Mr. Auxenfans, retired from the Monsanto Corporation at the end of 1999 as the former Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Agricultural Division, and its Chairman for the Europe-Africa operations. He is a member of the Board of Directors at both the IPC and the IAMA.” www.agbioworld.org...

The IPC was behind placing food and agricultural products “on the trading table” during the formation of the World Trade Organization.

Here is the sleight of hand used to get the WTO treaty ratified by Congress. During the debate on approving the WTO Agreement, Congress was justifiably worried that the multinational pact was in conflict with U.S. Sovereignty. Arguments for ratification were vehemently endorsed by Clinton Administration officials who were eager to get the agreement passed Congress. Congressional fears were lulled by pointing out Congress is ultimately responsible for changing the laws of the United States; and second, the U.S. is entitled to withdraw from the WTO. Also a feature of the Uruguay Round agreements are described as follows:

United States Law to Prevail in Conflict The URAA puts U.S. sovereignty and U.S. law under perfect protection. According to the Act, if there is a conflict between U.S. and any of the Uruguay Round agreements, U.S. law will take precedence regardless when U.S. law is enacted. § 3512 (a) states: "No provision of any of the Uruguay Round Agreements, nor the application of any such provision to any person or circumstance, that is inconsistent with any law of the United States shall have effect." Specifically, implementing the WTO agreements shall not be construed to "amend or modify any law of the United States, including any law relating to (i) the protection of human, animal, or plant life or health, (ii) the protection of the environment, or (iii) worker safety", or to "limit any authority conferred under any law of the United States, including section 301 of the Trade Act of 1974." www.eastlaw.net...

The "Food Safety Modernization Act" just being passed in December 2010 goes in effect 2012. The new law includes the following section:

SEC. 404. COMPLIANCE WITH INTERNATIONAL AGREEMENTS.
Nothing in this Act (or an amendment made by this Act) shall be construed in a manner inconsistent with the agreement establishing the World Trade Organization or any other treaty or international agreement to which the United States is a party.
www.fda.gov...

This section of the new law effectively hands control of the US food supply over to a TRADE organization run by the mulit-national Ag cartel.

Also do not forget the Fabian Society who have been training all these high level people such as Tony Blair and Bill Clinton for a hundred years.

Out in the open? Care to explain how this is out in the open?

I got news for you, they don't want it in the open. The only reason it is undeniable now is because of the Bilderberg researchers like Jim Tucker. A few years ago people were denying Bilderberg existed. Then a few months ago they denied Jim Tucker knew when they would meet. And now they are playing damage control to say it is just some Barbeque where people get together in what amounts to a vacation.

You honestly believe that a group of people that can make nations and military's do whatever they want can't possibly find a way to meet in secret?

I find that very hard to believe.

And why the heck should they even bother to meet in secret???? As you said they can make nations do what they want because THEY hold the purse strings and the politicians know it. They view us little people with the greatest contempt and call us ""THE GREAT UNWASHED" Even when we KNOW what they are up to we completely fail to stop them so why shouldn't they hold us in utter contempt?

The decades long "Farm Wars" over the control of the food supply is a classic example of how knowledge of what is happening did nothing to stop Congress.

This explains why the Food Safety Modernization Act was rammed down our throats during a lame duck session of Congress.

...Dwayne Andreas worked for Cargill and then worked for Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADMC) becoming CEO in 1971.

He is considered the TOP campaign donor in the USA.

“...Dwayne Orville Andreas (born 4 March 1918) is one of the most prominent political campaign donors[1] in the United States, having contributed millions of dollars to Democratic and Republican candidates alike....

In 1971 Andreas became Chief Executive Officer of ADM, and is credited with transforming the firm into an industrial powerhouse — so powerful that by 1996, ADM had been investigated for price-fixing and was assessed the largest antitrust fine in United States history: 100 million dollars....

Andreas commands much respect among Washington politicians for his largesse. As part of the investigations surrounding illegal campaign fundraising linked to the Watergate scandal, Andreas was charged with (but acquitted of) illegally contributing $100,000 to Hubert Humphrey's 1968 presidential campaign. In 1972 Andreas unlawfully contributed $25,000 to President Nixon's re-election campaign via Watergate burglar Bernard Barker. Other recipients of Andreas's "tithing" — as he puts it — have included George H. W. Bush, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, Bob Dole, Michael Dukakis, Jesse Jackson, and Jack Kemp.

According to Mother Jones magazine:

“ During the 1992 election, Andreas gave more than $1.4 million in soft money and $345,000 to individual candidates, using multiple donors in his company and family members (including wife Inez) to circumvent contribution limits.”

Not all of Andreas's charity goes directly to politicians: in the 1990s he contributed $2.5 million to Florida public broadcasting network WXEL.....” en.wikipedia.org...

Interesting that it was two Florida Journalists who got their behinds handed to them during the "Farm Wars" www.all-natural.com...

Dan Estulin the top Bilderberg watcher, sum it up very nicely.

...The idea behind each and every Bilderberg meeting is to create what they themselves call THE ARISTOCRACY OF PURPOSE between European and North American elites on the best way to manage the planet. In other words, the creation of a global network of giant cartels, more powerful than any nation on Earth, destined to control the necessities of life of the rest of humanity, obviously from their vantage point, for our own good and in our benefit – THE GREAT UNWASHED AS THEY CALL US.

Now, the reason people don’t believe in Bilderberg and other organisations working together exercising such control on the world stage is that theirs is a Cartesian fantasy world, in which the isolated intentions of some individuals, NOT the dynamics of social processes shape the course of history as the movement of evolving ideas and themes over successive generations and even centuries.

Bilderberg is a medium of bringing together financial institutions which are the world´s most powerful and most predatory financial interests. And at this time, it is that combination which is the worst enemy of humanity.

We can all congratulate ourselves in that today, Bilderberg has become the mainstay of corporate media. Not because corporate media has suddenly remembered their responsibility to us, but because we the people, have forced them into this uncomfortable position by becoming very aware that Presidents and Prime Ministers and your little shrinking Queens and Kings are puppets of powerful forces working from behind the scenes.... Dan Estulin

Back on topic

Basically there are only a few forms of national organization.
Barbarism: Rule by brute force without any pretense of justification.

Theocracy: Rule by "Religious Leaders" where service to God is everyones ONLY duty... As interpreted by the "Religious Leaders"

Collectivism: "The greatest good for the greatest number" as interpreted by government leaders.

Individualism The goal of government is to preserve the rights of the individual with the absolute minimum of interference from government.

We know the international bankers Bankrolled the Bolshevik Revolution. We know that through the Federal Reserve and the Committee on Economic Development the "Elite" shaped the current US government/society. Through the Fabian Society they also Literally Control the European Union

It seems to me the "Elite" have been looking for the "best" form of government to use to extract the most amount of wealth from the serfs. A Free Range Slavery

With true slavery, the slaves do the least amount of work they can get away with. This is also true of the "communism" form of government. With free range slavery, as seen in the USA and Europe, the serfs THINK they are working for themselves and therefore are willing to bust their butts to "Get ahead" or "Keep up with the Jones" This is why there is no flat tax but a multitude of hidden taxes so the serfs do not know how much of their wealth is being siphoned off through taxes and various "bank loans"

..To gain and maintain control over human populations and to ensure willing slavish compliance, the rulers – a small proportion of the total population in any “governed” society or “state”- have developed ever more sophisticated human management practices. Aptly in my view, Stefan Molyneux calls these techniques “human livestock farming practices.” Today these techniques and practices have been nearly perfected to the extent that most ensouled humans and others on Urantia do not even realise they are being manipulated, controlled and exploited; in effect, “farmed”. Accordingly, in my view, the term “sheeple” which is commonly used to describe the unconscious enslaved human masses who remain seemingly unaware of their true situation on the global “plantation” is not inappropriate.

As human information acquisition abilities and awareness have grown over the centuries so has the sophistication of the statist controllers’ and their propaganda, justifications and techniques for maintaining various statist matrixes (state-rixes) - now rapidly becoming a unified global “matrix’. Initially, primitive superstitions and then later organised religious superstitions (“god’s chosen people”, divine right of kings, ‘suffer passively in this world in order to receive rewards in heaven’ etc) were major factors in constructing state-rix paradigms but in more recent centuries religious ideologies have lost much of their ability to mesmerise and control the masses and so ideologies based on pseudo rational principles relating to social governance and economic management, fraudulent and deceptive money creation; and pseudo, contract based legal systems now dominate the global matrix.

Today the combined “statist” matrixes have become global and nearly totally unified as the banksters who have cornered the global market for money, law, armed force, armaments, religion, drugs, health care, communications and entertainment, science and education and almost everything else have extended their influence and control over governments everywhere with a view to creating a unified single administration (the New World Order) of all the farms making up the global plantation.....

Okey-dokey.

The story thus far (maybe):

A permanent Cold War, with an ever shifting array of opponents, is a direct result of the advent of nuclear armaments. They are never meant to be used, are instead intended to act as a deterrent. Sure, Truman (maybe) thought to himself, "Never another War like this one. Not after this."

And for 60 years we've all been living in the shadow of mutually assured destruction. And the damage done? Even after WWII, when the horrors made possible when people are assigned a number to replace their names were appallingly apparent, we made it our chief organizing principle. Reducing people to masses. Living in identical enclosures. Allowing ourselves to be fed like livestock.

And that was when the finger on the red button was presumed to belong to only one individual.

Now?

Many red buttons, innummerable fingers.

And, like the insurance industry, let us not discount Acts of God (maybe):

Also: www.google.com...:FIG?

More numbers. Ugh.

Hi, CIAGypsy,

I have taken your bits and breadcrumbs and thought long and hard, along with, MM.

The first thing I would like to post is a video...

Meet the Old Boss; same as the New Boss. I could not get this song out of my head since encountering your thread (which sucks; because I do not like The Who). But I realize it is not The Boss we think it is; but some hidden and unknown non-Bilderbergian Boss.
But the same as the Old Boss nevertheless. And what they have really been concerned about is this...

en.wikipedia.org...

I would gather, now ,from your breadcrumbs, that you may be dating the beginning of the real war, which we are only just beginning to see revealed, to about 1970 and the start of what is known as The Epoch of Unix.

The rest I have to add has to do with EMP and nukes; but I don't want to go there right yet.

Am I on the right track?

P.S. Three pages is no joke.

I never said Bildeberger was a "front" for anything. I simply said you are failing to see what is right before your eyes (as evidenced by Archer Project, as an EXAMPLE). This includes Bildeberger.

As for wanting me to spoon feed you, its not going to happen. That's what got you (and everyone else) into this mess to begin with. Open your eyes, use some critical thinking and relational skills, and figure it out.

I'm not saying more. I've put myself out there enough on ATS. Believe what you want. I'm not here to change your mind. I'm here to open it. If you choose to take an alternative course, c'est la vie...

No, actually, what got us in this mess was people, at all levels, witholding information. It's an insidious game many people play.

If you've got something to say, why don't you just say it.

Yo, wcitizen.

I've read this theory that every newly elected president is shown footage of the JFK assassination filmed from an angle that differs from any of the known films. The lights come up, the man behind the curtain asks the new president, "Any questions?"

Well, it might have been a joke, not a theory.

The OP may be in a position similar to that of the subject of the joke.

And even if this is not the case, what's wrong with a bit of an egg hunt?

I understand the impulse to dismiss the OP as some sort of arch-troll, but I've invariably found that the data points she provides lead down some very interesting avenues. What is happening here is information sharing.

I suspect you would either swallow it whole, or dismiss it without verifying for yourself any of the information presented.

I have hitherto refrained from rebutting your posts, as I felt it might be rather like punching an armless man. However, you continued to contribute nothing but petty abuse and comments which indicated very clearly that you had neglected to even read most of the thread before spewing more pointless invective.
