Like a hydra...cut off one head, and two grow back.

Not only are they better off for the arrests, as I'd wager that anyone being busted are just script-kiddies, but in this revolution script-kiddies are the footmen. No war is without casulities, and the Anonymous ideologues have said time, and time again, that they're at war with the corruption of the world, suppression of freedoms, and the suppression of free transfer of information. The busts also give anonymous tons of free publicity. And even though it's bad publicity, well..

"Any publicity is good publicity".

Anonymous is making movements to try and change the world in a positive way, and it makes a lot of sense that individuals who spend their entire days/nights looking at systems, finding the issues in them and utilizing problem solving skills to fix them, and improve effency, would lead a revolution geared towards fixing (what they perceive) as inherent flaws in the systems of society. i can't take credit for that thought though, as it was one shared by Julian Assange in a documentary (or one of his counterparts at wikileaks) that was released about 6 months ago, but it makes perfect sense.

There's some very interesting times ahead of the human race in the coming years, and I hope that humanity is able to use the advancements in technology to move the race forward into a new era of "The Renascence",one that promotes equality and well-being among all, and takes us beyond the stars. Anonymous is doing their part to push that goal, but they aren't alone. The H+ movement is working towards an era of bio/digital integration, where the possibility of uploading a human consciousnesses to the internet - or sustaining the human body to be able to live to 500 years old - are very viable possibilities within the next 50 years... but they won't happen if some of the bugs that are deeply engraved in the way that we interact with each-other, and not dealt with first. There are issues though, that stem throughout the most of mankind's recorded history. The current social dynamics of the world are a mirror image of those that were experienced in the times of the great civilization of Rome... They had a 3-tier cast system: Aristocrats, plebs, and slaves. Today there's the Upper-class, middle-class, and lower-class. In the days leading up to the fall of the Roman republic, the plebs had lost all their jobs to the slaves, and all their land to the aristocrats. Sound familar...? The difference in today's world, is that we have the great communication tool of the internet to spread information and provide education to all, but the issues are still standing.

Gotta know the context for the cause of the attack before answering your question... For instance, is this before, or after, whaling became illegal, and most whales are on the endangered species list. If it's prior to these events, then it's a tough call because the whalers are just doing what they do, to provide an income as it's their job.. If it's after, then they're the IMF - a conglomeration of individuals who are unwilling to adapt to the changes of the world, and willingly sacrifice others to clutch dearly to their way of life.

With that said, the animal activists were causing physical harm to the whalers, something that one of the Anonymous videos already posted said that Anonymous is against. It is interesting to note that the animal activists could have killed the whalers with their attack, but in the same attack caused irreparable damage to the hull of their ship and forfeited their own lives as well.

Haha, looks like the American people got change alright, SHORT CHANGE. Obama has turned out to be the most damaging president the US has ever had. Sure George Bush could never be topped, but the amount of crap Obama is trying to pull with the internet is just the final straw.

Funny enough the IWC (International whaling commission) has placed a ban on whaling but allows for a loop hole for scientific study that once completed gives an estimate of the number of whales allowed to be hunted. As you can see there is always a loop hole within any law, its simply human nature to find them and exploit them. iwcoffice.org... On another particular video with an encounter of a whaling ship the captain of the so called extremist boat was shot by an unkown crew member from the japanese whaling vessel.

You be the judge, but keep in mind politics and global agreements.
Video One
www.youtube.com...
Video Two
www.youtube.com...

In closing who would be justified. Complete id log into to central internet server based and then allowing you access to the net or attacking the structure put in place prior to it going online. Then again, the internet waves are all around us, so it isn't a big issue if you know how to..right ?

"The fund, which manages financial crises around the world and is the repository of highly confidential information about the fiscal condition of many nations" ...

aint that highly criminal and the actual crime here?...because it allows extortion and blackmailing? this is insider information about "sovereign" nations that should only be in the knowledge of the populace of these nations, not a PRIVATE (PRIVATE !!!!!!!) institution... who made these #ers boss?

Didn't Obama unilaterally decree any cyber attack on the U.S. shall be considered an act of war. And didn't Obama also unilaterally decree that he has the unchecked authority to wage war anywhere in the world in spite of the War Powers Act. And isn't Anonymous spread all over the world, including the United States.

Do you see what's going on?

Lockheed Martin compromised by the Chinese, IMF under cyber assault, Anon playing havoc with corporate giants and Wikileaks doing their thing. It seems very clear that those in power are more then a bit "upset" about whats going down these days. Its clear to see that they want to lash out at somebody with all their expensive war machines. The real test is when the information -acquired- comes to light what will the general public do? America is largely pacificed with Hollywood, Porn and Fastfood but what about the rest of the world?

False Flag? I wonder who is on the undisclosed government list?

Anyway we all know where this is headed...we don't need to be rocket scientists to work this one out......Say goodbye to the free web

Here is the actual Bloomberg article stating that ANonomous WAS NOT involoved:

www.bloomberg.com...

“Last week we detected some suspicious file transfers, and the subsequent investigation established that a Fund desktop computer had been compromised and used to access some Fund systems,” according to a June 8 e-mail to employees from Chief Information Officer Jonathan Palmer. “At this point, we have no reason to believe that any personal information was sought for fraud purposes.”

A memo was sent out:

The memo, which included advice on how to detect and report hacking attempts, said the IMF’s network connection to the World Bank was severed “as a precautionary measure.” The intrusion wasn’t connected to an attack by Anonymous, the memo said.

Yeah certainly seems that way and the fact that the culprits are never caught. Quite a lot of games companies have also been hacked recently, such as Codemasters, Eidos & Epic games. Definitely seems like hacking has increased considerably since Obama starting talking about internet censorship. I received 4 emails from various games companies & their forums this week asking me to change my email, username and password because of hacking and this is the first time I've had to do this in over 20 years.

No.

Anon has been around far longer than Wikileaks. Anon consists of anyone and everyone who looks at their boards, goes to their IRC rooms, participates in their projects.

There is no 'Anon Membership." It would be best to think of Anon as an organism; over the course of months, the cells may change, all of the original ones gone, but the organism as a whole is still the same, same memories, same abilities, etc

They once asked , Rockefeller,, why he financed the womens movement of the 60's,,Gloria Steinhem, etc, his reply was "now we have doubled our income",, we can now tax both members of the household.

Simple.

Through all of the chaos and bullsh!t that we are bombarded with every day, lays a very subtle pattern that tells you what they are doing.

They have built up the USA for decades so that they have a powerful economic and military superpower to tighten their grip on the world and to gain control over even more nations.
Now that that phase of "the plan" is nearing completion, they are moving to the next phase which is to weaken and sacrifice the USA (And probably use her as a scapegoat) while at the same time strengthening China (Their next and perhaps final "Base of operations").

Everybody and everything that is a threat to this phase, that truly wants to strengthen the USA and defend her from these globalist assholes are being eliminated and weakened.
What's truly sad is that the people that do this for the globalists actually believe they are defending their countries.

then they get hit with a web attack?
sounds like TPTB are making them cooperate with them.
