Something else I forgot to mention, and this is scentific fact. People say the world is over populated now. It might be for the natural resources that are left but in regards to the level of technology we have and the level of living we have we actually need about the amount of people there is in the world today give or take a billion. What people don't realize is that thousand of people work for you. You get out of bed, have a shower, drive to the shop,do shopping, go home and fill your fridge. It took the work of thousands of people in order for you to do that. And each of those thousands of people have thousands of people working for them so we could not have this level of technology even if there was millions in the world because it takes billions. As the population reduces so would the level of technology and living standard.

Also if we went back to hunter gatherer we'd need not less than 200 poeple in a clan ( less risks inbreeding) and not more than 500 ( puts a strain on resources) that clan would have to be split up into about 50 tribes of about 20-25 people per tribe living and hunting in an area of about 1000 square kilometers. So 1000 people in an area of 2000 square kilometers etc. Humans would be sparse indeed.
