dogs, cats arent really ever happy to see you. my pitbull mix loses his mind when i come home haha a cat cant do that, unless its one of those exotic hybrid cats those things are pretty sweet.

1. My cat has never leg-humped the welcome wagon lady.
2.My cat does not smell like a sweat-stained, putrid hockey equipment duffel bag.
3.My cat in front of a mirror or with a hamburger bun on her head is instant entertainment.
4. My neighbor has never called me in the middle of the night to complain about my cat hissing.
5. My cat is a bug assassin and no flies have a lick of a chance at getting through the screen door.
6. My cat would NEVER be caught dead in a pink hoodie like the neighbor's dog. Much better fashion sense.
7. I've never had to walk my cat to the nearest park and pretend to be preoccupied when she squats to drop a big old " muffin" on the grass...nor did I have to pick it up in public.

CATS WIN!

Cats! =^.^=
Litter boxes are easy to clean and they sell stuff for hairballs.
You don't have to walk a cat.
They don't drool.
A sweet meow is better than that darned barking.
A cat doesn't take up as much room on the bed.
A cat is an awesome lap warmer in the colder months.
They are cheaper to feed.
If they are really furry, they double as a mop.

Lol most or all of it?
I used one(count'em one) term that literally means cat. I guess some people aren't clever enough to understand word play.

Guess it's just another case of censorship due to a mislead prude.

Since my original post got nixed

I vote dogs hands down, they save lives cats don't.

There have been stories in newspapers about cats alerting their owners to a fire. So they save lives too.

True
but do you have any proof that the cats did not start the fire to begin with? I've long heard stories of cats having hero complexes due to the fact they can not live up to the competition of dogs.

As I recall, no the cats didn't start the fires. Cats know they rule. Don't they look regal to you?

Is this the cutest thing ever or what?

I love dogs too, don't get me wrong, but to own cats are easier.

I have both.
I have a little black cat, and a golden Lab , and Shepherd/Husky/Coyote mix and a Shihtzu, who acts a little like a cat, climbing all over the furniture, and he catches mice.

The cat is the boss of all the dogs, but I've had her for 17 years now.

I tend to favour the dogs, anywhere I am in the house, or yard, the dogs are with me. The Shihtzu also comes with me where ever I go in the truck. The other two hate leaving the house

Although the cat comes when she's called, better than the dogs do.....
