The GOP isn;t even TRYING to win the WH in 2012. THEY DONT WANT TO! But they need to PRETEND they are trying, and when they do lose, they need to have a great excuse--oooh, it was those dirty illegal mexicans who voted 15 times!

Notice how the Republicans-in-hiding want to pretend voter fraud is all about zOMG! EVIL DIRTY MEXICANS when it's really about who counts the votes.

This is all just bluster to provide a pre-text for claiming the elections was 'stolen' when their milquetoast mitt romney candidates lose epically to Obama in 2012. (and no, that is not a support of Obama, just an observation that the GOP wont even TRY to win in 2012)

Vote fraud is minimal. ELECTION fraud is widespread, and is done by Republican-supported companies like DEIBOLD.

Forget ID. Each voter should be required to demonstrate that they have even the tiniest bit of understanding of the issues and candidates, which clearly the avg Obama voter does not.

Listen to the first youtube link above... it demonstrates how clueless the avg Obama voter was in 08. Howard Stern has someone interview Obama voters and he pretends that McCain's policies are actually Obama's policies and they all agree with McCain's policies. They also think that Sarah Palin was Obama's running mate and Biden was McCain's VP pick. It proves that some voters don't have a clue about any of the issues or candidates. They are for slogans and style over substance. They are for change, but they don't have a clue what that change is. These voters are completely uninformed. Watch the videos and see for yourself.

Your best feature is creating strawman arguments. Nobody has said that about Mexicans in this thread. So you come along and try to deflect the topic off to a non-issue. You're as obvious as the light of day.

Yes, I am saying the right wing of the demopublican party is ramping up their base to claim that the 2012 election was 'stolen', even though they arent even trying to win, because it isnt in their interest to win, because the economy is in the crapper and will continue to be for years, regardless of which 'side' is in te White House.

This issue provides an excellent excuse for the Republican social conservative base to claim the election was 'stolen' because no one wants to vote for neo-Conservative Mitt Romney

Actually, it's been said SEVERAL times in this thread. Many times in just the last few pages. feel free to read the last few pages and see the several references to 'illegals' voting several times in exchange for jobs, money etc.

Republicans and there machines, municiple policies and third party register schemes.

www.8newsnow.com...

(Oct. 13) -- Federal, state, and local officials are gathering information about allegations of voter registration fraud that were first raised Channel 8 Eyewitness News.

An employee of a private voter registration firm alleges that his bosses trashed registration forms filled out by Democratic voters because they only wanted to sign up Republican voters.

The allegations have set off a political firestorm stretching from Las Vegas to Washington D.C., and beyond.

wiscoprogressive.wordpress.com...

As if the Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice “recount” isn’t a big enough mess, It appears that the Wisconsin GOP has been engaged in widespread fraud surrounding their attempts to recall democratic senators. Inexplicably, the Republican Party of Wisconsin had relied heavily on people they hired from out of state to collect signatures against democrats, even paying to house these folks in hotel rooms. In all cases, they paid by the signature. Sounds like a recipe for disaster, right? The decision to pay out of state people when there are plenty of unemployed folks that reside in those senate districts who may actually be invested in the outcome of these recall elections makes no sense at all.

Friday

www.pressherald.com...

Wednesday evening, after a long, sometimes passionate debate, the Republican-controlled Senate fell into place behind the Republican-controlled House and, by an oh-so-close 18-17 vote, nixed a 38-year-old law allowing Mainers to register to vote on Election Day.

Well, we do have some common ground on that point. I don't think there's any way in hades that the GOP rank and file will ever vote for that guy. Romneycare, flip-flopping on abortion, and in favor of a new AWB....three strikes and Mitt's out.

He will not be the GOP nominee.

it's a deflection to make this about which party is more corrupt. that can go back and forth infinitely link for link.

the point is that this whole issue is one manufactured to prepare the groundwork for creating an excuse for the expected loss in 2012. look at all the constant references in this thread to how 'illegals' can vote.

Make no mistake about it; the demopublicans are on the same team. But many of their partisan followers dont understand this, and need to be fed excuses for why the GOP continues to lose popularity, even amongst their traditional base.

JUST LIKE HOW THE DEMS claimed voter fraud in Florida in 2000 (but Al gore did nothing to investigate it or order a full recount), the Republicans will use this as a reason to divert attention away from their milquetoast attempt at a white house run in 2012.

Expected loss? The election will be a referendum on the economy. Obama will be kicked out of town.

R's losing popularity? Certainly not to the D's. The Dem's are a joke as was shown in 2010.

The race thing is getting stale, there's no reason not to have ID. If you want to cash a check you need ID. To do just about anything legal an ID is either required or relevant. No ID at the votting booth, no Ballot. simple then the illegals cant vote. They have no right to vote but they support someone, that person gets elected illegally and builds illegally until they have stolen a path to citizenship. These dishonest scum you want as citizens? Thank god for the second ammendment

This has been entertaining. My dog was registered as a Democrat for the 2008 elections. They used her name + my last name + my phone number and an address to a "rent a mailbox" place across town. Where I live, you only state your name to vote. If someone shows up before you and uses your name and votes there is nothing that you can do about it. You are SOL.

Here's an interesting piece on voter registration fraud:

LINK

The plan goes something like this. 1) Sign up illegal aliens to vote. I walked door-to-door in 2010 canvassing for Republican congressional candidate Van Tran in the Anaheim, Calif.,-area district now represented by Democrat Loretta Sanchez. Our team ran across people who were listed as registered voters in rolls obtained from the county registrar who openly admitted they were illegal and stated they could not vote and had never voted. How did the illegals get on the voter roll? The federal Motor Voter Law requires local welfare offices, social service agencies and motor vehicle departments to offer voter registration forms to everyone who comes in, no questions asked. ACORN-like groups have long practiced signing up new "voters" at places where illegals congregate.

It goes on to discuss how the votes are actually cast for those that are illegally registered. The ones registering aren't the ones voting. It's criminal.

I don't care if ID's are free or not but everyone should have them. Period.

Then maybe those groups of people can walk to the Court House and obtain one. You can obtain a photo ID from your local court house without having it be a license. It’s a pretty simple concept. Not hard to understand. Bring your ID card to vote. Much like I have to bring my ID to work every day or else be sent home. And the total cost is affordable to any class of people that know how save a penny, work, or read.

I think the government should go a step further. I think they should make every citizen pass a test in order to have the right to vote. Too many people do not know enough history and political science to make an informed decision. Too many people vote on party basis alone without reading (which many don’t even know how to do) on what the politicians actually stand for. Or for the simple basis that they have promised me that they will "pay my mortgage" and they actually believe it. People who don’t educate themselves, can’t think for themselves, or who are actually dumb enough to believe politicians promising them the world, don’t deserve to vote. Let’s first have people contribute to this country and be a part of it before you can participate in its election process.

And one more thing, this isnt being "drugged back", this is going back to a time were mistakes made, but not all of them. And this ID requirement , is not a mistake. It was common sense. Something the liberal party lacks very much of.

NO president has won reelection when unemployment is over 9%. This is fact. This president, unless he can crap gold in the next year, he will not be re-elected.

Americans take the integrity of our elections for granted. Every citizen has an equal right to vote, and every vote cast is counted. Rubbish.

The voter rolls of this country are stuffed with illegal aliens, felons and dead people, who not only vote, they vote overwhelmingly Democrat.

Citizens in uniform serving overseas, who might vote Republican, are routinely denied the right to vote when ballots are mailed "too late" to be returned in time to count. When a Republican wins a close race, uncounted ballots are "found" in the backseat of a Democrat poll worker's car.

American elections are getting more corrupt every election year.
