Lots of times those pre-pubescent marraiges were arranged so that the aging/ailing parents could feel more certain about the security of their children after they passed away (not everything that looks evil really is...), it doesn't mean these absurdly young people were having sex (or that sex between 15 year olds and 5 year olds wasn't considered disgusting).

go to images.google.com and search family nudist, then go complain to google for having child porn

Its sad when the law allows such deviance , using anyone's photo. It's sad that google allows what it does, and can get away with it by law. Whats the saddest is that people actually think its ok,,and make jokes about it. Are these are leaders of tomorrow,or today??...This is a sic world, and slowly getting siccer, with these types of behaviors protected by the twisted.

So you would stomp on the nudists rights to have their own websites, and post pictures of their events too?

I could go to the beach, and take a bunch of panoramas, and I often do to make HDRI images to light my 3D scenes. In some ass backwards places, if a naked kid runs into one of my pictures, I can be arrested for it. And yes, there are lots of naked people at the beach, of all ages, so it could happen. I am glad the laws here are not so stupid.

How many of you have been watching HBO's Game of Thrones?

So far there have been two scenes where it could be argued that they pushing the 'acceptable' boundaries, but where has been the uproar?

1. Scene where the crazy Lysa is sitting on her throne with her bratty 7 y/o son at her side, SUCKING HER EXPOSED BREAST (you even see her NIPPLE when he stops sucking and let's go)! Just about fell off my seat when I saw that one

2. Recent scene where one of the Kings had his paws all over the backside of a 15 y/o girl.

This is a good series, but given what I've described above, I'm shocked that more hasn't been made about the STANDARDS of your TV programming in the USA?

Mind you, it’s a great show if you like regular sex, gay sex, beheaded animals, swords in the eye and dwarfs (and dwarf SEX)

Surprised a thread hasn't popped up here about it, sounds freaky.

I remember reading that the very young, as young as two, were usually arranged by the Church so a man could get at an orphaned girl's money and estate. Women were property, not allowed to have their own, so an "uncle" could get permission to marry the girl. Sometimes, according to my history class, the girls never made it to puberty. They sometimes died of "illnesses" shortly after the marriage.

That class, as I recall was World Civilizations 210. We studied the middle ages through the industrial revolution. Things didn't really change until women started speaking up for themselves. I understand the ailing parent scenario, but there were some really crappy things going on behind the scenes also.

My grandparents themselves got married at 14 (grandmother) and 15 (grandfather) in the early 1900's. They stayed together until death. How else is a couple supposed to get enough young-uns to work a farm? They had 16! Cultures change and the laws change. Extended family isn't as important anymore. Our kids are allowed a longer period of childhood. The law is supposed to reflect that.

I understand we cannot punish thoughts. However, this man needs help. Serious help if he's having thoughts about his own flesh and blood. Something's broken inside him and it needs to be worked on.

His little picture eventually led to him trying to drug and photograph her.. The whole story should be taken into account when his execution...er I mean his sentence is read aloud.

According to the timeline that you just fabricated on the spot. If you actually think that he abused his daughter because of the picture that he made then you have some serious personal logical development in your future.

He is broken... Toss him to the hogs like the garbage he is.... Every breath he takes is an insult to every abused child on this planet! END HIS BREATHING NOW!!!

You really know how to make me laugh out loud...

Is this a Hawthorne Heights song?

Surely just stupid ranting

I'm sure you can find examples of anything I was just pointing out that the assumption of pedophilia when young kids (male and female by the way) married older people during that period is incorrect. Generally if they were very young they would become "betrothed" but continue living with their parents/other family until they were older.

Sometimes the boys didn't make it to puberty either... fairly obvious... of course people sometimes died of "illnesses" shortly after their marraige, illness used to kill lots of people. If you meant something other than illness you should just say that.

How do you suppose she is feeling with all of the media attention? She will be affected in areas of trust, love and honesty,

Why don't you charge the media then? Because the daughter was unaffected by the father until the media got involved. Maybe you mistook the term "DIRECT" in my question?

The mother and the media are the exploiters here. And you folks let them run around waving the "save the children" flag as they collect checks for the tragedy and the daughter gets nothing. Cool beans, observant folks for the win

More on your made up character?? Did you even bother to read the thread your commenting on????

He drugged her and tried to get her to pose for pictures!!!!!! His intentions are obvious...

Defend away, without the intelligence to fit a punishment to an action.

The whole picture should be known, then judge on his actions. Guilty!!!

I don't know how many times I've said this but as valid arguments tend to bounce right off of your ears...

...I'm not defending this dude, he's being prosecuted for illegal actions and rightfully.

I'm defending what's left of the integrity of the law, you cannot charge people for crimes that don't exist just to soak up some vindication, I don't care how disgusting you might find the act in question.

Okay. Thanks for the information. I'm sure the boys didn't fare much better either. I didn't think of it from a male angle. I suppose a woman could have married a boy for the same purposes. I know Cleopatra married her 9 year old brother to hold on to the throne of Egypt.

I put illnesses in quotes because that's how it was presented to me. Well timed deaths, they couldn't just advertise the fact that the older spouse murdered the other so it was marked as "illness" by the Church or government. I can't remember specific examples, but I do remember covering that in class.

It's just all messed up when money and power are involved. Now it gets messed up when drugs are involved and custody issues are involved as well. There had to be a reason the ex didn't see the man in question for so many years. Maybe the mom should have remembered that. I also understand that some underage girls go after older men and know exactly what they're doing. Children are so sexualized so young, I'm surprised that it doesn't happen more often.

So this thread still rages on? No end in sight and people are still arguing that the man should be imprisoned?

Everything the guy did was sickening and deplorable.

The man is in prison, one of his convictions though was not in accordance with the law.

Drugging his daughter is a criminal offence. Trying to get his daughter to pose for sexual photos is a criminal offence. Pasting his daughters face to a porn stars body while absolutely disgusting is not a criminal offence.

To recap though, the man is not longer near his daughter he is in jail. Most of the other things he did was a criminal offence just not the Photoshop job. Everything the man did was downright appalling. The man should be set up for some sort of psychological evaluation, as no one in their right mind does the sort of things he did.

Yep, you prettymuch summed it up. People should be punished when they harm another, not for "crimes" that have no real victims.

It's weird, little disturbing.

I don't need big brother "protecting" those "emotions".

You know, the ones that I wouldn't have, because I would have never known about it in the first place?

You're just freaking out to be freaky, I suppose.

I'm not sure the disadvantage that needs to be legally controlled of people being sexually attracted to YOUR family members.

Really, did you even read what I wrote?

I said he should be jailed (and he is) for the crimes he commited. Photoshopping his daughters face to a porn stars body though very sick is not a crime.
