I do not think it's as clear cut as "18." 18 is a completely arbitrary number.

My dad used to when in the fields when he was 7 because that's how it was in the place that he lived in. I used to buy beer for him when I was 3 years old.

As a result, people like us mature faster. We began to lose interest in childish things very quickly.


Nowadays, you can't drink until you're 21. I think it's all bull#.

If I was at a beach??? I would watch for a second, their mannerisms and how they carry themselves... Within no time, would know they were children.
