For your information, 18 is not the "legal age" all across the world. In some cases it is as young as 14 or 15. First world countries mind you. Does that still make it right? Probably not, in a moral sense, but if someone over 25 sleeps with a 14 or 15 year old, then the community will look down upon it if they must, the courts just can't convict.

Obviously incest is not protected here, as this is something entirely different.

So take that into account sir/madam, before you go calling someone on the web "sick", or I'm likely to call you sick for having a narrow-minded world view in an age where it is unacceptable.

Wrong, it wasn't those things combined, and the courts agreed. It was only the crimes he committed he can be convicted of, not a made up crime of photoshopping distasteful images. Photoshopping distasteful images is protected under our constitutional freedoms, unless it is presented as real to slander someone.... It's no different than photoshopping or drawing, or writing about or making a movie about, or making a videogame about any other crime. Not illegal at all, and never should be. It is not real.....

There is a HUGE flaw in that logic.. Your acting as though, as a male, you or others don't have control over what is sexually attractive to them.... I hate to say this, but I consider you dangerous to children after that comment. As an adult there has NEVER been a moment in my adult life where I saw a 13yr old and was sexually turned on.

Unless there is a genetic abnormality, NO 13 year old child looks like a 24 year old woman.

Using this human instinct logic you and the other poster are using are just self serving excuses for being attracted to a child.

I get it, but I disagree. As long as he does not hurt anybody, no crime happened. Masturbating in private to pasted pictures does not hurt anybody. There indeed is a well-defined line you spoke of, but with these pasted images, this man has not crossed it. The court agrees with this, too.

In Australia, for instance, there was a rather controversial 'gray area' where people were having their pornography confiscated at airports, or shops challenged, because the female models were depicted as having small breasts, to suggest that even full grown women with small breasts could be classified as a child pornography fantasy.
