I'm sorry that I even had to create this thread but I was very hard pressed to find numbers regarding emigration from the good ol' USofA. (I found NONE)

When I tried to search "emigration USA" or variations of the phrase there is absolutely NOTHING! I would not have brought this forward but with the current 'meltdown' of the economy in the States I would almost expect SOME emigration from the States. After all isn't there always people emigrating from the USA?

To say the least I find it very strange that I cannot find statistics on this. All I could find are links dealing with immigrating to the States!

It didn't seem to matter what search engine I used, I got the same results.

I'm just curious as to the emigration figures but cannot seem to find any information... can any ATS members help? Any numbers between 2008 to 2011 would help.

Respect,

-AS-

Thank you Evola! I found it strange that my search didn't come up immediately with the Wikipedia entry that you linked to.

Mods can close this this thread. However others may be interested in these numbers as well.

PS: I'm surprised I could not find this information as I'm usually very good at finding what I'm looking for. Evola... What phrase did you search? Did you have to scroll through many pages? (hope I wasn't being to lazy)

Or one of the Scandinavian nations. If they let you in. Pretty soon, they might start accepting Americans on a refugee status!
