ENTERTAINMENT: Rick James Dead at 56

The Superfreak himself, funk singer Rick James, died on Friday at the age of 56. He passed away in Los Angeles, reportedly of "natural causes."

I just heard on one of the 3 news channels, Fox, MSNBC, and CNN that he died of a coc aine overdose. I'll check for a confirm.

He was from Buffalo NY (he was from the eastside around East Delevan) and had personally insulted me as a white person then tried to pick up the girl I was with --- he really was a super FREAK!

never really had the chance to get into his music but the episode he did with chapelle was enough to make me a fan of his.
