I read it somewhere on the board but I can't seem to find it (Sorry) how someone was waiting for the 3rd dead famous person to die with an R (They do come in 3's) Well we can conclude the Ronald Regan, Ray Charles deaths with that of singer Rick James who died today.

I think Rick James did go to prison for sexual assault....but like DetectivePerez said - I think you're confusing Rick James with James Brown....totally different style....totally.......lol

Damn Jr. I guess Cocaine is a hell of a drug! j/k

Rick's been out for awhile. Chapelle was closing a deal to do a movie on his life. Well now I guess Dave will get most of the dough.

BTW~~~ Ritter died 9-11 2003

Wow! EnronOutrunHomerun

You know what I just thought of? If you followed the Chappelle gig with RJ I am wondering if you were around for Eddie Murphys days as I'm Gumby Dam'it and was wondering if that was a spin off of I'm Rik James Dam'it since they were hangin together.

Tony Randall was the first one of three concluded with Ray Charles.

Rick James is a new cycle. (There wouldn't be two singers in one cycle anyway IMO).

I love old-school SNL -

I dunno - could be....of course Chappelle then would have decided to change the "curse word" to a more modern-day profound and insulting one...but then again Chappelle loves to say bi*ch in any skit - lol

Okay, so how many are we up to?

Just for kicks- to see if this is anything unusual, someone, pick another letter and let's see how many we can think of for that one. Actually, I guess it can't be just any letter, as R is a common one. It would have to be out of the group they use on Wheel of Fortune as the most common choices. So let's see - I believe definately, R, S, T, and there are 2 or 3 more (sorry I don't watch it that much - lol).
