Whats the deal with the dentition here too ?
I know the picture isn't the sort of thing you'd base a dental examination on - but the prominent 'teeth' look like they are in an 'odd' place,
maybe too close together and too central for canines ? Could incisors be located like this - I can't see they would work properly, and the creature
looked adult, so they clearly did 'work'.
Why would there be (at least two) chimps living wild in S America (the report mentions M/F) ?
My guess is some form of Spider Monkey sub species - I need to work up something on the report of size, & overt aggression ... although primates are
known to throw dung, I guess ...
