There were other types of in-situ film processing blemishes. One "famous" author, Fred Steckling, claimed in his book "WE DISCOVERED ALIEN BASES ON THE MOON" that one of these blemishes was "irrigation-type lakes or ponds", first photo. My research, in the early 1980s found that the "lakes or ponds" were film processing blemishes and I brought it to his attention in writing and later on a radio interview. He supports his claim with a photo he took from his plane, second photo.
