could be squirlz, but they must have done a bad job editing it, cause squirlz properly reflects the images. The OP's video however, does not.

Yes, what you are saying is possible, but it isn't a 100%. It is just an "it could be".

Maybe if someone with lots of time can analize that video.

I was just illustrating what a reflection SHOULD look like. Yes, I did use photoshop. What are you getting at?

What? No I dont think this is a second sun. The what is for the comment about the reflection. When you look in the mirror are the things above you reflected as below you or vice versa? Like do you see the bathroom light fixture where the floor should be? Our reflextions are reversed in that what is left is right and what is right is left but what is top is always top and what is bottom is always bottom.

I see three reflections in the water. Whats the object that is above the sun in the water. Small like the "second sun" but above the sun. I think its a second flare. One sun two flares.

Weird stuff!

It baffled me as to how the "second sun" moves in complete accordance with the sun itself.
Also, wouldn't others living in other countries in the same region see this too?

i think that's just a ripple. but there is another flare in that appears briefly in the center of the screen.

I think that the sun is causing a normal lens flare, which happens to be projected back out onto the water.

In effect, a reflection from the camera lens is reflecting off of the water back toward the camera? I don't see how that can happen (angle of incidence and all that).

yeah, i think you are right about that. maybe it's more to do with video editing. the more i watch, the more odd it seems.

I think he put the reflecting "lake" for the lens flare in the wrong place.

The shadow would be the mountains,,,,,,it's in the angle of view,, think, diagonal, then horiz. ,, bi-sect the view as in a two dimentional prism.

Exactly. Its like the person reflected the sun & its flare on the water, then reversed the image.
