Ok ... but that still won't cut the root of what causes immigration in the first place.

Funny our immigration system is similar to our prison/judicial system.
Revolving Door Policy.

Someone needs to shut the door!

It's really good to see this spreading across the country, and it's VERY good news to see the Supreme Court upholding the LAW. With 9.1% unemployment, schools laying off, roads falling apart, hospitals closing, etc., it's time we make it as miserable on illegal aliens as possible.

Very soon thanks to NAFTA; there will be no "illegals"

www.commondreams.org...

Anyone that wants to work in the US will be given a "green card" [work visa] at the border and if they stay clean will be eligible to apply for citizenship. Face it, corporate America will not give up cheap labor even at the expense of forcing the American Taxpayers to join the ranks of "cheap labor" themselves.

We used to make steel in this country...Now we make happy meals.

This isn't happening at the present but it's only a matter of time. Anyone that thinks in terms of local economies, cause and effect or the outdated "supply and demand" paradigm, is ignoring the what the big dogs have in store for us on a global scale.

This has been planned by social designers for a very long time.

Do a little research and explore what the neocons and PNAC have in store for us. They did'nt just disband with the Bush administration; they are stronger and more influential now than ever.

www.newamericancentury.org...

For the ultimate strategy revelations......read between the lines if you are astute enough and don't let your conservative ideology get in the way of your common sense. Break away from the Rush/Sean mindset and take a walk on the wild side.

It's a brave new world, welcome to the monkey house and stfu.

And people are surprised at this? I knew when they were talking about it that as soon as it passed, American jobs would go south, and those people would not be any better off. I worked for a company that had 1,000 employees in NC. Within a year after NAFTA, we were down to 60. All of our jobs went to Guadalajara. Sad part is, if the Mexicans wanted to work there they had to learn english! They even took our corporate bonuses and gave them to the Mexicans! Then, they actually had the nerve to ask some of us to go to Mexico and train them to do OUR jobs! not one person volunteered!

just a point of contention altho i do agree with making life miserable for illegals.

schools are local and state issues
roads are local and state issues
hospitals are local and state issues

etc.

there is not enough federal money to pay for everything and everyone in this country but then agian

no tax dollars should be taken away from one state and be paid to another state.
