I recently came across this video by Bill Hicks where he gives his views on the meaning of life. When I first saw the video it's message didn't really
sink in. It was a little while later when I was having a bad time when it really hit me... Life is just a ride.
Whenever I have a bad day or things don't go my way I remember the simple yet profound message in Bill Hicks' video... It's just a ride. Some people
like going faster than others, some enjoy it more than others and some forget what it's all about.
Sometimes I forget this. I find that I can be reading on the internet for hours about how we are all being poisoned and plotted against by people who
have everything they could ever want. I watch the news on TV and try to figure out what's next in this global game of chess, and when the commercials
come on I look out for all the little subliminal advertising techniques that are used to pollute out minds...
Then I have to remind myself of Bill Hicks' four magical words, "It's just a ride". All my worries about the past, present and future are put
perfectly into perspective and I become desensitized to the troubles.
Anyway, I just wanted to share the video and give a few thoughts on it. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do.
Peace, Love and Happiness.
