Strange Moving of Rocks in Death Valley

Interesting stuff. It sounds like ice sheets coupled with wind is the going theory about how these rocks move across the playa. Too bad, I really like the magnetics idea. I read that the majority of rocks are dolomite. Anyone know anything about the geology of the area to determine whether or not it is magnetically... odd?
