Maybe that have something like this.

PRIME DIRECTIVE (Star Trek)

As the right of each sentient species to live in accordance with its normal cultural evolution is considered sacred, no Star Fleet personnel may interfere with the healthy development of alien life and culture. Such interference includes the introduction of superior knowledge, strength, or technology to a world whose society is incapable of handling such advantages wisely. Star Fleet personnel may not violate this Prime Directive, even to save their lives and/or their ship unless they are acting to right an earlier violation or an accidental contamination of said culture. This directive takes precedence over any and all other considerations, and carries with it the highest moral
obligation.

Or they just choice not to because it serves their purposes to keep quit for now.

Eons ago, monkeys fling poop. Fast forward, human monkeys use guns instead of flinging poop. Religion keeps human monkeys docile but deep down humans resent being called monkeys. And if human monkeys find out what was done to them, I reckon religion won't stop angry human monkeys from getting even with fearful aliens.

Dear game over man

As you say it is about none of those you mention.

It is about maintenance of the power base. Therefore perhaps more importantly the money base.

TPTB will not be TPTB if it ever comes out. Therefore cover up. Simple really.

People have a right to belief - why do you gotta get all judgemental about it? couldn't be you're a christian could it?

Humans may be violent by nature - but EVERY SINGLE RELIGION has murdered and persecuted in the name of their God

Just do some extensive googling on witch hunts.

Peace ♥

I forgot to point that out woops. The witch trials. You really have got to have no soul to kill someone just because they look different or believe something different. My god is better than your god. oh please. Its like little kids arguing over who has the cooler pokemon card. This topic has gone offff topic, i apologize.

Good point. Maybe they are not able to feel human emotion since it is human emition, maybe its "their" emotion but its something we cannot understand. hence us being human.

Just do some extensive googling on witch hunts.

You have to look at the witch hunts in context. Back in those days, suspected witches were seen as being a threat to society. It isn't much different today how we treat suspected terrorists at Gitmo because we view them as threat to our society. Besides, accounts of the witch-hunts are often exaggerated.

Are you nuts to post a title like that??

More people have been killed in religous wars than in all other wars combined.

Wait till the crazy craphouse rats start calling you the devil and decide to burn your arse, and DONT THINK THEY WONT ----AFTER ALL THEIR GOD IS A FORGIVING ONE AS LONG AS YOU ARE THE ONE LEFT ALIVE TO BE FORGIVEN!!!!!!

There is no god ,the concept of divinity is the seed of one mans imagination.

These are ill people ,not normal human beings, they are very very sick.

You must be nuts,im outta here.

Hey let us keep this on topic now, save the religious talk for another thread. Create one maybe?
Anywho.... Would the aliens have humor? and if so would it be humorous to them since the earthlings have so many religions? Or would they laugh at the fact w e believe in a god? Who knows. I love the mystery in it.

Witches didnt kill little children, they flew brooms.

In a proper world even superpowers would be held accountable for murdering humans.

In this one,the guys in gitmo belong where they are.

Set up a platform for a one world government and we will fix this world in five years of less.

One big enough to slap the us and china at the same time.

led by the canadians and the Swiss. And the Dutch.

Most witches were burned due to a misunderstanding - you're actually right - although they did scream and yell and wave their bible at them, the real reason they were burned was out of fear of independent thought.

In context, terrorists don't fear our religion either - and in most cases (if you really look into it) the terrorists do not commit their acts because of religion (just once again, waving their particular brand of bible at us while doing it) - They do it because we're over there trying to force ours down their throat (bring our troops home I bet they'd be a lot happier with us)

Meanwhile, if we're lucky enough that Aliens are benevolent (which I don't believe) - its not religion they have to fear, but the idiots who immediately assume they are a threat and start shooting at them (whether they're slinging bibles has nothing to do with it)

If Aliens never get here, at some point in our distant future we will likely be the Aliens visiting other planets - if we find a lesser society than ours, odds are pretty good will kill them off (intentionally and through contractual virus) - history shows thats what we do - swarm in - infest - take over - through violence
