I am no scientist, but the way I see it, 1 kilo of anti matter may well annihilate nearly 1 kilo af matter, but we are taking about destroy not
anihilating. The immense energy released when 1 kilo of anti matter comes into contact with matter would be one huge mofo of an explosion and would
destroy far more than 1 kilo of earth.
If we can find away to produce / harness antimatter reasonably cheaply, we will have an unbeleivable amount of energy at our fingertips, it would
herald a new age of man. However, even a fraction of a gram would produce very bad results if its containment field collapsed.
