Conditioned for a Zombie threat

Well, it is no secret that our society loves a good zombie movie. What feeds this popular trend? Is it just a coincidence that there have been over 500 zombie movies? In 1932, the first zombie move, White Zombie was released to the public.

Fast forward to present day, 2011. The CDC gives credibility to a Zombie threat. The CDC didn't do this for fun. The CDC doesn't care that we are prepared for any type of disaster. The media is pushing this zombie hysteria upon us for a reason.

I compare this conditioning to the same Alien type of agenda.

Being a Bill Cooper fan, I believe the Alien threat is pure fabrication, much like this zombie threat being pounded in our heads (and our children's heads).

It is all fun and games until the military starts experimenting with biological warefare that can make 'enemies of the state' turn into zombies and terrorize their own territory.

Your thoughts?

It should be obvious what is going on. A lot of people think HAARP will be used to create storms or earthquakes to help thin out humanity and make it easier for the Illuminati to take over. People forget that HAARP can also control peoples minds by broadcasting signals into them this is how the Zombie apocalypse will happen. Once they find out what parts of the brain to shut down to make a person a Zombie that's when all hell will break loose.

Does anyone on ATS use critical thinking anymore? Or are we all just going to blatanly ASSUME these technologies are possible? No such thing as zombies.

Lol, I did check it out. I'm curious, did you read the article or just the title? Because the article doesn't seem to have anything to do with zombies? I also think your confusing what they mean by "dead gene" It doesn't mean it is no longer a living thing, it just means it is no longer a used or active genetic device and further, it is causing facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy, it would be pretty hard to be a zombie if you can't even move.

Facial muscle weakness (eyelid drooping, inability to whistle, decreased facial expression, depressed or angry facial expression, difficulty pronouncing the letters M, B, and P)
Shoulder weakness (difficulty working with the arms raised, sloping shoulder)
Hearing loss
Abnormal heart rhythm
Unequal weakening of the biceps, triceps, deltoids, and lower arm muscles
Loss of strength in stomach muscles and eventual progression to the legs
Foot drop

They already started implementing the source of zombification years ago.

It's called American Idol.

I thought it started with Jerry Springer, then they secured the zombification with Mtv's The Real World!

What I see is that people are zombies underneath, like robot-controlled zombies, only a few of us are actually "alive" and in control of the machine.

I swear to god sometimes it seems like the preppy popular girls at high school are zombies. Come to think of it most people I know always just seem like they're on auto pilot or something.

Hi there
Its simpler:
The zombie pandemy is a metaphore... it only pictures the state of mind of the passive consumers and moovie watchers... and what finally becomes with their brains.

It was always like this with the good literature/art. When you uncapable-not allowed to name the things as they are you have to use metaphores etc...

Hence ie all that "Vampire" movies

Wait a moment... hidden, tribe, of "peoples" very very pornographicly rich, despising the ordinary folks and pushing their secret agenda from centuries?? Who that may be??

Does anyone truly seriously thinks the CDC believes in the possibility of a zombie outbreak?

Come on, now. They just used the popularity of the zombie meme as an example for what to do in the event of any disease outbreak.
This is nothing more than the CDC's sad attempt to appear "hip & cool" while trying to be informative. They could have just as easily gone with an outbreak of vamprism, would you still they were in any way serious?
