Someone needed to post this. Hopefully someone hasn't beaten me to it:

Restoring Constitutional Government

Streaming Live from Dothan, Alabama – Troy University Campus Saturday, June 4th from 3 pm – 6 pm Eastern Time Remember to adjust for your time zone! THE PEOPLE’S CONSTITUTION COALITION OF OHIO (PCCOH) has developed a plan to restore constitutional government in America. The OHIO SOVEREIGNTY AMENDMENT is the most comprehensive and legally sufficient means in America, for restoring the constitutional relationship between the states and the Federal government. When enacted, the Ohio Sovereignty Amendment will mandate legislative compliance with both the state and federal constitutions. The proposed, and certified state constitutional amendment is the most significant enhancement for good government and protection of individual Freedom and Liberty SINCE PROGRESSIVES AND OTHER ANTI-LIBERTY FORCES BEGAN THEIR ASSAULT ON THE REPUBLIC SOME 100 YEARS AGO. Join us Saturday, June 4, in Dothan, Alabama for America’s first statewide conference on state sovereignty: “State Sovereignty and the Restoration of Constitutional Government in America“. Michael Young, co-founder of PCCOH and primary author of OHIO’S SOVEREIGNTY AMENDMENT will address the conference about this historic and essential effort to restore the states as the primary source of governance for the people of America. The states must once again unite in freedom if we are to preserve America for future generations. Take a stand for freedom; join us in taking back America by harnessing the SOVEREIGN power of the PEOPLE to control government.

That was my first thought!

But I reserve complete judgment until I read this thing.

ETA: Ok, I read it. It was pretty short.

Sounds pretty good all-round, but the language leaves too many holes to protect from molestation through the language itself.

Also interesting was the bit on education:

Sovereignty through Education (1) State to Encourage Beneficial Principles To preserve and maintain sovereignty, the state shall encourage and promote that all schools in Ohio support the principles of good government and this Constitution, and of a moral and ethical society - nothing to the contrary. Said principles shall include, among others of similar beneficial interest, the following: (A) perpetuation of absolute truth in all things; (B) maintenance of a high moral and ethical standard; (C) sharing of compassion, charity and spirituality; (D) promotion of creativity, courage, and individual responsibility and health; (E) development of mechanical skills, mathematics, and personal dexterity; (F) the application of law and the mechanisms of good government; (G) the joy of community, peace and tranquility; (H) the importance of good character, integrity, and honor; (I) and the necessity of defense, preparedness, and preservation. (2) Control of Education at Local Level Public educational curriculum and operations, except funding, for children through the twelfth grade shall be regulated solely at the local school district level.

How can you legislate morals, ethics, charity or spirituality? Doesn't quite jive with the constitution as far as I'm concerned. the last bit pretty much says that you cant have any say, Feds.....but we will take your money!

we are too socialist at the moment and the end result of socialsm is we will run out of other peoples money.

and the biggest supplier of that money is china

but once we run out china will fail

this country destroys the rich so the poor can have something but in china the only rich is their own government.

I do agree with your first statement, but don't believe we can use the 'only rich are the Chinese govt related' argument anymore:

BEIJING, April 12 (UPI) -- The number of Chinese with personal wealth of $1.5 million or more total 960,000, thanks to China's explosive economic growth, says an annual report. The latest number of millionaires on the mainland is up 9.7 percent year-on-year, said the Group M Knowledge-Hurun Wealth Report 2011, China Daily reported. The Hurun report analyzes the number and distribution of China's wealthy across major cities and provinces. Group M Knowledge is a think tank. Of the 960,000, 60,000 were identified as super rich, with $15 million or more in personal wealth. The report credited rising property prices and China's fast-growing GDP as main reasons for the rising number of Chinese millionaires. The report said 55 percent of the Chinese millionaires earned their wealth from private businesses, 20 percent from real estate, and 15 percent from equity investment. The remaining 10 percent were identified as high-salaried executives. There were 875,000 millionaires in 2010 and 825,000 in 2009. Read more: www.upi.com...

We're talking US$'s

The Hurun Wealth Report 2011 released recently says one in every 1,400 people in China has a personal wealth of at least 10 million yuan (US$1.53 million), including 53,500 people in the city of Guangzhou, capital of southern China's Guangdong province..

most people think that 1.5 million dollars is alot but its not

whats the cost of living? how much do houses, cars, food etc cost?

even still take take away the american money going to china does that wealth sustain itself?

i dont think it does.

nothing saying you have to agree been a good civil chat and its much appreciated.

Enjoying the civil chat too

I guess that cost of living is much lower, when you consider the low wages, and the fact that they can purchase their own products at low prices, but then the rich there really prefer the high quality imported items.

It's also not just about the US $'s that are going into the country (from their exports), it's the fact that they are wisely buying up real assets; Land, property - FORECLOSED HOMES, companies, shares etc, in the US and around the world. The real degree of wealth will be those type of items.

Additionally, unless the US defaults on the Interest owed on borrowing a Trillion plus from China, they've got many years before they need worry about US$'s flowing their way.

You beat me to it.

The section on education sent shivers down my spine. When any government dictates what can be taught it is not a free government.

You ohio, keep trying guys.
