PROFITS KEEP JOBS

yeah someone is full of bs.

if your not making a profit jobs are lost.

Socialists have a hard time with the whole concept of Capitalism.
Instead of prosperity i think they prefer fair shared sacrifice and a long unending recession.
----------------------------
That sounds like Cuba!

edit on 3-6-2011 by Eurisko2012 because: (no reason given)

Corporatists have a hard time distinguishing between good business and fraud

Your corporatist friends started this recession with systemic fraud... Sounds like 2008

Well capitalism isn't perfect but i'll take it over socialism any day of the week.
I think we can all agree that raising taxes during a recession is a stupid idea.
Obama wants to do just that!
He better get President Bill Clinton on speed dial right now.

no they are better with money that you are.

Oh they are??? Since the wealthy have been buying off politicians for years...that seems to contradict the 14 trillion dollar deficit that everyone solely blames on Obama.

half this country not working and not paying taxes and getting paid by taxes is corruption .

Half of the people in this country, many who lost their jobs, homes, and their way of life are CORRUPT because they are unemployed or needing help to put food on the table????

47 million american with their hands out and not producing anything is corruption at is height.

Good, and why don't you go out and tell all 47 million of those people exactly how you feel about them hero.

and the bad guys are the lazy bums not the people who pay and make things for everyone else and who finances those lazy bums.

We must all be lazy in this country since WE DON'T MAKE ANYTHING HERE ANYMORE. Yeah, government has had to pick up the slack for the DESTRUCTION OF WAGES AND JOBS.....ironically because of free trade and lack of enforcement from anti-trust laws....both caused by the government. You attack the wrong people...you are attacking the victims and IT IS WRONG.

yeah smoke ass whatever and so much for civility.

Oh I'm sorry....I forgot you practice excellent civility here....calling the unemployed lazy bums and corrupt.

WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE PAL???

It hasn't worked because the rich are still paying taxes. I thought you had noticed as much.

If they paid no taxes and it still doesn't work, we could start sending them an extra million direct from the treasury.

Surely that will help them create some jobs !!

Some good news! It's about time! Good move, Obama. I've been waiting for him to do this.

Now... let's talk about discontinuing Bush's Patriot Act.

Great posts, David.

Pulling money out of the economy and handing it over to the U.S. Government will make
the recession worse.
-------------------------------
Like i said earlier, Obama better get President Bill Clinton back over to the White House
to bail him out......again.

Republicans will cry about this, but this is something Obama is doing right.

We've had these tax cuts in place for years now. How are they helping the economy, exactly?

People seem to forget how capitalism actually works. It's all about the bottom line. You have these companies, they're making record profits, and they're not hiring Americans. They're either running their companies bare-bones with as few employees as possible and maximizing income (while hoarding it to the CEO's), or they're sending the jobs overseas where they can hire on the cheap.

Just because someone makes more money doesn't give them any incentive to spend it. Companies will not hire unless they absolutely need to. At the end of the day, the execs just want to make as much money for themselves as possible.

Trickle-down economics is a pipe-dream being sold to the lower and middle classes by the ultra-wealthy, and even in 2011 with half the economy in the tank, people are still dumb enough to believe it...

oh so obama hasnt been bought off by big unions pretty rich if you ask me. the national deficit was 9 trillion when bush left over obama has added 4.5 trillion dollars and is expected to reach 16 trillion by 2012 added the cost of obama care into the mix so blaming obama is the correct course of action since it is his watch and he has done nothing to curtial the debt and has done everything to add to that debt. so meh

Half of the people in this country, many who lost their jobs, homes, and their way of life are CORRUPT because they are unemployed or needing help to put food on the table????

and a large majority of those people never had a job to begin with and sit on their butts and collect unemployement insurance for their 99 weeks meanwhile the government just wont get the hell out of the way and makes things even worse for them.

Good, and why don't you go out and tell all 47 million of those people exactly how you feel about them hero.

yeah i would but you can guarantee the majority if not all are democrats and just love their free ride and free money foots on the blood and backs of others all for their votes for the king obama

yeah try to take free money away from the slugs of this country they would rather gut me but sure i would.

You attack the wrong people...you are attacking the victims and IT IS WRONG.

and why is that big government stooges and who wont get the hell out of the way for anything and the total and complete and systematic destruction of the wealth creation of this country. people like you created this mess and you constantly try to add to it.

Oh I'm sorry....I forgot you practice excellent civility here....calling the unemployed lazy bums and corrupt. WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE PAL???

yeah i am the guy who tried to stay on topic instead of just go on a rant and insult anyone who disagree with my thoughts.

i am the guy who didnt try to make this thread about a poster unlike you.

Tax increases on the super rich worked great in the nineties, and even higher taxes on the super rich worked even better in the fifties, and sixties.

Eliminating the Bush era tax cuts doesn't go far enough. We should raise taxes on the super rich at least back to where they were in the mid nineties, but the tax rates of the fifties would be even better.

Then the fed should invest tons of money in infrastructure rebuilding, like they did in the fifties.

Free market economics is just another form of communism.

Time to return to market economics, and tax the super rich at a reasonable rate in relation to the enourmous amount of service they get from the fed gov.

Oh, they tried that already. Don't you remember all the shovel ready jobs Obama was
promising all of us with the $800 Billion stimulus?
Instead of fixing bridges and building roads he gave coc aine to monkeys
and put pretty little signs along the road telling us our stimulus dollars are at work.
- Forget the signs! Give us the recovery! -

Instead of hiding behind victims, i think it would be a great idea to remove the socialist
in the White House and replace him with a capitalist and just watch the unemployment
rate fall to 5%.
