It was reported that Rep. Anthony Weiner sent lewd photos via the net.

www.huffingtonpost.com...

Jon Stewart did a great segment.

I don't know if it will stand up in court.

But the penalty might be stiff.

This is hilarious...Insert euphemism here...

Such an unfortunate name, but I really don't know if this is true or not yet. Guess we will see how the investigation holds up.

Some folks just aren't very bright. Interesting to dig a little deeper, if it meant enough to me to find out if this young lad really thought he was all that and the legendary bag of chips.

Seems simple to me... if you can't pay the time, or don't wish to be involved then don't do the evil deed. Mpost especially if you are worried about the fine being too stiff...

looks like wolfe is out to get weiner? If not him then somebody he's probably paying to make him look bad...I highly doubt a congressman would do this openly the way it was done

I guess a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do when you have a name like that,

perhaps just a case of another egomaniac caught with his pants down

pun intended

From the pictures...

It looks like a very small matter...

I'll have to research it, but was Weiner a backer of the recent IP Bill? Just curious, because Anonymous has been targeting the supporters of this bill, and the timing of this scandal seemed interesting.

He says he didnt do it. I am not saying that I believe him, but its would not be the first time twitter has been hacked.

More like a frame-up;

So who is this Twitter user that appeared to luck out and sent the only unique RT of Weiner’s image? The Twitter profile claims that he is an individual named Dan Wolfe, and his bio reads: “Conservative Reagan Republican. No Obamacare, socialism, sharia. Proud of the USA & Proud to be an American with NO apologies. No elitists need apply.”

Its not an exaggeration to say that Wolfe is somewhat obsessed with Weiner; a simple search reveals that, since April, he has mentioned Rep. Weiner 287 times via twitter. Also, skeptics might see that Wolfe and his Twitter clique have been building a narrative about Rep. Weiner’s followers for months, perhaps best evidenced by this tweet to an underage high school girl, who requested a follow from Weiner and got it:

To be fair he has not denied it.

Today he said he could not be sure.

How can he get elected if he can't recognize his own Weiner ?

I think he got caught with his pants down.

Hardly Earth Shattering....I like the guy.

But this is just too much fun...

you know if it had been a republican the lame stream media would be all over this

instead of defending one of the biggest idiots in washington dc.

just more proof of the double standard of the so called "fake left right paradigm"

You nailed it...

The double -standard is obvious.

However, when you claim the moral high ground.

The fall is quite a bit further.

Weiner says, however, that he can't say whether or not that is a pic of him. Which leads me to ask how does he not know if that is him in the pic? Does he take that many pics of himself in the buff that he loses track? If I take a pic of my studly parts, who cares? But he's a U.S. Representative, for goodness sake! He needs to show some personal restraint. After he's out of office he can take all the beefcake pics he wants.

So now it looks like the image in question was sent to yFrog by a hacker;

Reuters' Anthony De Rosa looked at the data for the photo at issue and notes that it doesn’t match previous images uploaded by the Congressman – the type of camera is different, as is the content included.

In fact, in the data for the contested image certain information that would be important for verification – such as the modification date of the image – is missing entirely. source

The image lacked all the same identifying traits as other images sent by Weiner, such as the device used to make the image (Weiner used a Blackberry). The suspect image shows NO DEVICE used in it's creation.

Further proof this was a hoax or an attempt to smear Weiner is the yfrog account. The suspect image lacks the identifying yfrog URL which would easily prove if it was real or not.

Meanwhile, Dana Loesch of Breitbart's Big Govt curiously starts asking if it's possible to fake a yfrog account. Why would someone ask how to hack into someone's account, then a week later someone does hack into their account - especially if that someone is connected to Brietbart?

Weiner was convinced someone had to have hacked his account for the pic to show up in his yfrog account, but it turns out no hacking is needed, just his email address;

easiest way to pull off this as a hoax would be if you knew weiner's yfrog email address. email a blackberry pic to that email address with (@subject) in text and you'd create exactly what happened here.

would require no password hacking (you wouldn't even need to know his password to do it).

the chance that somewhere along the way that weiners yfrog address had been leaked? pretty damn high. it would happen if weiner or an aide simply forwarded a pic he emailed to his yfrog account to anyone else (thus showing the yfrog email address in the chain). source

BREAKING WEINERGATE UPDATE: Lefty Blogger Exposes Massive yFrog-Twitter Vulnerability! Weiner Might Not Have Sent The Wiener

(it's actually not a hack, as it doesn't give you control of the account, rather it just allows an image to be posted to it by someone other than the account owner).

This is the level politics has stooped to in this country, when political bloggers can create a scandal then "report" it to bring down anyone they don't like. I don't know who Anthony Weiner is, but he is looking a lot like a victim of a smear campaign by some shady character based on a hacked yfrog account.

But how would Weiner NOT KNOW if a picture was taken of his privates or not?

To me, the "don't know" response is pretty weak.

The "normal" response would be expected to be, "Hell no it's not me!", not maybe it is and maybe it isn't.

Unless, of course, Weiner knows the truth is going to come out anyway no matter what he says.

Thanks for the link;
(CASE CLOSED! CONGRESSMAN WEINER WAS FRAMED!)
The updates near the end of the article look pretty damning against Dan Wolfe. I think the FBI will have a field day with this one.

If it's a hack job, the pic can still be genuine even if he wasn't the one who sent it. I have a difficult time believing he would send this from a twitter account. Seems unlikely anyway. A stupid distraction no matter what.
