Clouds on both poles cutout

i was navigating on google earth today ..

and i didnt really mind about all the options you can check .. and uncheck ..

i decided to check on the weather check marks ..

i kept the cloud check mark on and noticed on both poles .. the clouds where pentagonaly cutted out

strangely .. the areas are right above where the hallow earth entrys suppose to be .. ,

It has something to do with geo-stationary satellites not orbiting the poles, thus the missing data.

No evidence of the existence of the poles?! :O

Sounds like a crisis in Japan! This may be more appropriate in the music or cooking forum

But on topic, I think the reason as stated above is almost correct, imaging satellites aren't geostationary, com satellites are, but the poles aren't included as the parallax distortion is too advanced to be orthorectified into a clear image as taken from the closest orbit.

Also, imaging satellites require adequate reflection of sunlight for good quality, thus at the poles this is not always possible.

Also they can't have us seeing the giant UFO under the ice from space, etc
