A man, Gale William Nettles, was arrested today in a plot to blow up a federal courthouse with truck bomb containing 1500 pounds of fertlizer. Previously convicted of counterfeiting, he allegedly had a grudge against the Chicago court system.

Nettles is reportedly not working with any terrorist groups. U.S. Attorney Patrick J. Fitzgerald said that Nettles had a plan to build a bomb and that officials didn't want to see if he succeeded.

The article also states that instructions for using ammonium nitrate, a commonly used fertilizer, are spread widely around the internet.

CNN: Chicago man arrested in alleged bomb plot

Prosecutors said Nettles purchased 500 pounds of what he was told was ammonium nitrate fertilizer from an undercover FBI agent Wednesday.

He was arrested Thursday morning after selling 1,500 pounds of fertilizer to another undercover agent, who was posing as a member of a Middle Eastern terrorist organization Nettles hoped would join the plot, Fitzgerald said

Today was an award winning blue ribbon day for the FBI. When was the last time the FBI arrested so many alledgely charged terrorist. Not only male Muslims but also white boys.
Politically motivated, or just doing there job. Either case there keeping them off the streets. If only our government would stop the flow of illegals
across the borders.
