Killer bacteria claims victims in Germany, Sweden

A killer bacteria linked to contaminated cucumbers claimed a 15th victim in Germany on Tuesday and its first fatality abroad when a Swedish woman who had been traveling in Germany died, authorities said.

One of the largest E.coli outbreaks of its kind, it has also made more than 1,000 people ill in Germany as well as people from Spain, Sweden, Britain, Denmark, France and the Netherlands who had recently been in Germany.

There's been a lot of strange news like this recently...
just last week I posted the story of them finding
MRSA (Flesh eating Bacteria) In Bed Bugs...

today we have killer Cucumbers... do I sense a remake of killer tomatoes in the works???

I know this isn't funny but does drive home just how frail our food safety systems are.

OP you can post on this subject if it is not covered in the forum.

Thats left me in a right dilema. I have spainish cucumber most nights including tonight. do i remove the cucumber from my plate or leave it? mmmm.

Well i ate spanish cucumber all last week and im still here so.......

But yep they will get us all one day with something.
