I came to this forum actually trying to find answers on how to deal with the premonitions that I have....

None have actual details...what happens is I actually get such pains in my stomach or anxiety feelings when I think of something or someone....I know something bad is going to happen....when it is someone...when I think of the situation and I get those feelings....something horribly bad happens and it is usually related to the feelings that I had....

The problem is I can not pinpoint it....not sure how to control...not sure if I even like this!! Sometimes, when it is life/happiness threatening...I actually get sick to my stomach before it happens..then after the fact I am fine....can anyone direct me in the area for someone to help me with this...

Either to help control them or to cultivate them to be more detailed....It is very scary for me...

i think its just anxitey and paranoia. But i get the same feelings too. Dont worry about it usually its your mind thinking bad things. DONT BE NEGATIVE

yer you are right. Its more of just a bad feeling, you can usually get a bad vibe about something straight out, usually from how the siturations starting to unfold. Personnally speaking I dont thnk you have anything to worry about.

***This is very common, try not to be afraid of it.
Use it as a guide and warning. You will probably never have control over it, but you can learn to draw more from each incodent so you can better deal with the problem or maybe warn the person. It seems that aside from the gut feelings your getting, the sence of smell seems to be the easiest to pick up on. When these things happen, try to smell...you may be able to learn who or where or what the situation is - you'll get more clues.

cmj5540: An excellent way to deal with this sort of thing is to write it down and quantify it.

While I am really, really bad about not doing so myself, sometimes when something just screams for attention, I make a note of it in a file on my computer.

It's a simple text file and I just hit a button to date/time stamp it. Belting out a quick description of what I feel is therapeutic, and often seems to help bring things under control. You would be amazed how much this simple act helps.

Plus you have a record of what you felt to later compare to what happened. If you wish, you can use this form of feedback to cultivate your sensory ability, or at least come to better understand it.

Don't worry, you're not crazy. These sorts of things are far more common than probably anyone really knows.
