It's a shame we don't have TV shows like this anymore, i'm not that old, in my 30s
But I do watch TV and I really don't see anything anymore like this

I'm glad that someone uploaded this to youtube
hopefully people will remember, those that think the Patriot Act is really a good thing

Due Process, yes it's really that simple

yea I loved that show. I have a couple of the older seasons
on DVD but I do not have that episode depicted in this

What is Obama going to run on anyway? Last time it was hope and change. Maybe this time it's going to be "I promise there will be change".

It just occurred to me... when he said he was bringing change, he meant what is left over in our pockets after he's run us all into the ground.

I remember not long after Obama took office people were noting a change in his personality and his energy.. saying he looked defeated or as if he just learned of some bad news...

It's my theory that in the post 9/11 world some things were set into motion that can't be easily stopped and I would also be willing to bet that any president stepping into Bush's shoes would be locked into this same general path.

The government isn't one man, it's a bunch of people in seats of influence .. advisors can be like worm tongue from the lord of the rings, I'm sure.. I think it will take some time after Bush for wrongs to be righted and for sanity to seep back into Washington.. if any of that is true, I'm quite glad Ron Paul didn't get elected because had it been him riding those waves it could have tarnished his reputation forever.. though I think Ron would have had much greater personal conviction ..

I'm not defending Obama, I'm just saying it's hard to know who's pulling what strings anymore.. Obama may largely be powerless to inact any real change.

I always new Opie was a communist. Barney, Floyd the barber, Earnest T. Bass, Goober and the town drunk (I forgot his name) he used to walk into the jail cell and close the door behind him. Funny and lasting characters I still remember.

Last I saw him he was pushing for government healthcare and touting socialization as some saving grace for all the nations ills.
