I am not putting words into your mouth. People are focusing on how you are presenting the subject.

Can a person have a Jewish name, but the individual practices Catholicism instead?
Can a person have a Jewish name, but the individual practices Buddhism instead?
Can a person have a Jewish name, but the individual practices Witchcraft instead?
Can a person have a Jewish name, but the individual practices Vamperism instead?

As a result of focusing on their name, you painted all people with a Jewish name as Jewish and evil.

Did you ever focus on some of these people's positive contributions? No you haven not. You have only focused on the negative aspects, so you can get people angry with a religious group.

All negative. If you actually gave a darn, you would have approached this subject with sensitivity. You would have also added some of their positive contributions, and your thread would have had a different title.

Did it ever occur to you that many or some of them "may" also be bigoted, and they will not make their true feelings public? Its easier to give you a flag, so they can hide their true prejudice. Even though we may all be sharing a cool forum, that does not mean we all live in tolerant societies.

Hollywood and the media are 2 different animals (although...they might be in the same zoo...)

I have yet to see anyone really define why it is bad that Jews run the media or anything else. Yea, several have taken a shot at it but it comes across as sour grapes and then quickly devolves into argument about the Palestinians.

I think someone mentioned it earlier or maybe another thread but it is appropriate for the Palestinians. The crabs in a bucket fits the Palestinians to a T. Can't have one of them working with the Jews to make a better world.

I don't care about the Middle East except that we are losing some of the best of the next generation. I don't care about the price of gas because I only drive 4-5 miles every 3-4 weeks to good ole Wal-Mart and back. I'm retired. I really like the H.P. Lovecraft Mythos, Agatha Heterodyne, other comics and Anime. I will finish playing the cards The Lord and Lady dealt, then spend some time in The Lady's presence before taking another turn on the wheel just to see what has been going on.

The Americans bombed all day and the brits bombed all night. Rail ways roads trains boats or any thing that moved. So in a time of war, do you send food to your troops defending your country? Or send it to people who are in prison for declaring war on you in 1933? Which is why most of these people were in the camps any way.
If the germans had of bombed the USA all day and the Italians all night. Destroying all the roads trains boats ect. What would have happened to all the Japs locked up in american concentration camps?

Actually it's "hostile to anyone of middle-eastern descent", and the Jewish tag is really an addendum in my opinion, as why would any specific subgroup be prioritized in reference to a word that already encompasses them among others of the region? I think the fact that the very definition is altered to specifically point to Jews is very misleading, since the common Jewish person is not middle eastern. Most, if not all, Jews in power today are Caucasian.

Let's take a walk through history folks....

A theme continues to pop up. Why are Jews a historically despised people?

Well first, this has much of its basis in mythology and not in reality.

Yes, at several times in history the Jews have been persecuted, but not with any more regularity than any other group of people and most certainly not all "Jews".
And a certain group of individuals, who many say masquerade as Jews but are actually from Central Asia, have latched onto this quasi-historical persecution and promoted this lie through their corporate owned media channels in order to create a defense for their genocidal and dominant behavior.
This group of people are known as the Zionists, and they can be identified by their insistence upon being known as "God's chosen" while also occupying the Holy Land, which is in gross violation of their own prophecies.

It seems as if they allow themselves to take the aspects of the religion that work in their favor, but have no problem ignoring what they wish.

From my understanding of the Torah and Judaism, this is highly displeasing to G-D because it is not in accordance with Mosiac Law.

So let's begin, shall we?

Three main events exist in history regarding persecution of Jews.
Many would argue that more exist, but for this post, I will concentrate on the big three.

1. The Egyptian exodus. (I will also cover the Babylonian capture in this)
2. The inquisition
3. The "holocaust" (And as someone has already defined, this simply means "burnt offering", which is a term that has its origins in... The Torah. A burnt offering is how Jews please G-D, according to Mosaic Law. It is also the reason why Cain killed his brother. I suppose that fruit doesn't burn as well as meat. Hmmmmm...... whatever)

THE EXODUS

Many folks want to think that the exodus was an acutal event, but NOT ONE piece of evidence exists to validate this belief. The only evidence that exists is.... what? The Torah.

I will not go into this, but I will provide a link.
The Torah is not believed to have been written by Moses.
A gentleman named Julius Wellhuasen developed the documentary hyppthesis, which states that the Torah was not written by Moses.
It was a combination of 4 different texts that were written over a period of time.
This is the most accepted hypothesis by Biblical scholars regarding the creation of the Torah.
Mostly because it accounts for many of its discrepancies, known as doublets.
I do not wish to argue this point because it is one that is typically a matter of personal faith.

What is known is that the Torah was codified by, interestingly enough Persian King Artaxerxes, and then taught as a holy book to the captive Jews in Babylon by Ezra.

The exodus is most likely as real as Jonah and the whale, or big fish, or whatever...
But I digress.

THE INQUISITION

Yes, Jews were most definitely persecuted during this time.

The Roman Catholic Church, which is actually the Roman Empire reborn, had it in for these guys.
In the eyes of the church the Jews were responsible for the crucifiction of Jesus.

I guess this was Rome's convenient way of diverting attention away from the fact that it was ROMAN SOLDIERS who actually performed the crucifiction.
Granted, it was the temple priest Caiaphas who initially leveled the charge against Jesus of imitating the Jewish messiah, but I don't want to split hairs.

The bottom line in this was that many Jews were persecuted, that is the Jews that were not Goldsmiths (the Roman Catholic Church had banned usury and they needed someone to do the dirty work for them)

ENTER THE ZIONISTS.

The supposed Hebrew tribe of Dan was infiltrated at an earlier time by individuals from Central Asia. Some say these people are known as Khazars. I have not found any evidence to prove this, but it is apparent that a difference existed in the ranks of Jewry.
This difference was once noticed by those who made the cut as priests or rabbis or what have you and the common Jew.
This difference is still in existence.

But where were we?

The inquistiion had it out for anyone that did not buy into the new religion of Rome, lock, stock and barrel.

It was not a Jewish persecution, but a persecution of the unbelievers.

This story is eerily similar to the next event.

THE HOLOCAUST

This event has been the subject of so much intense debate and historical revision, on both sides, that I will keep it brief in order to assuage the masses, on both sides.

Suffice to say though that, like the inquisition, many, many, many other people died in German labor camps than Jews.
Unlike the inquistion however, this was about buying into the Nazi ideology.

This somehow seems to get lost in translation.
Most think that this event was exclusively Jewish, but this is incorrect.

Yes Jews died, many Jews died, but somehow, like the inquisition, the money lending Jews were spared their life.

Interesting.

So as you can see, the history of this "persecuted people" is somewhat obscured.

The real truth is that some Jews have been persecuted throughout history.
But only those who were not in the business of lending money.

And those who leant money created what we now know as ZIONISM.
