Rare treat coming: Three eclipses in June and July

www.msnbc.msn.com

Over the next month, the world will experience three eclipses: two partial solar eclipses a month apart and one total lunar eclipse exactly in between, and it all starts with a so-called "midnight" eclipse of the sun.

Wow 3 eclipses in 2 months? I can see maybe one lunar and one solar, but this is two solar eclipses within a month of each other, with a lunar for good measure! I'm kind of excited to see if this heralds anything worldwide. It would really interesting if we saw something big happen in the Middle East, or a major announcement in the next week in relation to the NWO. Good times!

Quick, someone teach me some antirain and anticloud dances! Frikken weather has ruined the last 7 meteorogical events I was looking forward to watching/photographing

Oh damn it:

Unfortunately, it will not be visible anywhere at all in North America.

There will be a partial solar eclipse June 1st, a total lunar eclipse June 15th, and a partial solar eclipse July 1st. Equally spaced out. This is pretty bizarre.

Care to elaborate as to why this would indicate the end of the world is near? Don't misconstrue that comment. I'm not trying to bash you. I just am hoping you'll pull out some bible prophecy as I enjoy reading it.

Without actually erm...Reading the Bilble.

Here are some blurbs from the article:

'Midnight' solar eclipse of June 2
The eclipse begins on Thursday, June 2, at dawn in northern China and Siberia, then moves across the Arctic, crossing the International Date Line and ending in the early evening of Wednesday, June 1, in northeastern Canada.

Solar eclipse no one will see on July 1
Exactly a month later, on Friday, July 1, an equally bizarre eclipse will occur in the Antarctic.

Because this is the southern winter, the sun will be below the horizon for almost all of Antarctica, except for a small uninhabited stretch of coast due south of Madagascar. The only place the eclipse will clear the horizon will be in a small area of the Southern Ocean, far to the south of South Africa.

Lunar eclipse of June 15
The eclipse will be visible for millions of people in Africa, the Middle East and southwestern Asia. It will be visible as the moon rises in the early evening in South America and Europe, and as the moon sets before dawn in eastern Asia and Australia.

So nowhere in America.

Not trying to be a buzzkill but what exactly is conspiratorial about this topic?

I notice that a new "general news" forum has been created but I'm not understanding the pattern as to what constitutes "alternative" or not. In fact there's a thread about the possibility of alien life in space, in the general news forum, but the thread about eclipses is in the alternative news forum.

Lovely, something they will have planned for this then? They really like eclipses for some reason, stargates and access by negatives to our planet. The sun is always shining, in any case, and shines in our hearts.

(Doommongering powers activated)

Solar eclipse followed by lunar eclipse = Sign of the Apocalypse. hmm. Where have I read that before?

Oh yes, I remember now, Acts, Joel and the Apocalypse of John.

Acts 2:20

The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come

Joel 2:31

The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord come

Revelation 6:12

I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red,

Of course, its not a perfect match, would have to be a total solar and lunar eclipse for that. Still, thats no reason to stop the doom. Fresh doom is good for the mind, body and soul. It makes your hair fall out and skin wrinkle. So why let the truth get in the way of any needed doom?

So remember kids, July is the Ind of the Whirled. Don't forget to text and tweet everyone about it. If someone tries to tell you that your misinterpreting scripture, just tell them they are the one's who are really the misinterpreters...and blasphemers...and they like goats...with sunglasses.

Very cool, wish we could observe all 3.

The Lunar eclipse of June 15 mentions a Blood Red Moon
