I must clarify that i call "holographic" in the title, because it is what it looks like, but it's a new kind of 3D graphics kind of projectors instead.
But the "hologram ilusion effect" is very very nice indeed

Problem is i forget to put the " " in the tittle word

Very sorry for that, because it can evenctualy be kinda misleading.
I ask the mods if please the " " can be added to the word "holographic",in the tittle please.
Thank you very much.

But you can mate! If i have seen it right, at 3.18 in the video, a guy pick up a book from the table, and the virtual balls bounce on the book while he move the book in diferent positions...and the balls change direction acordly

there are just to many of his inventions, that are either reality, like the cell phone and ipad, or being worked on clandestinely or in public by the military and/or corporations to be chance.

some of his predictions, that are only hinted on his shows, are world war 3 and eugenic wars.

Indeed mate, i fully agree with that.
But IMO we have older and more fantastic people with that kind of "futuristic view"...like Jules Verne!
That guy imagined planes, submarines, rockets, Helicopters, space ships and trips to the moon lots of decades before. His work is amazing indeed. And he was not a scientist, just a regular writer
)
He was the one who pioneered the science-fiction genre. Almoust all what he imagined in the past , is just reality this days!

Would be nice built in to a pair of glasses or a helmet with the camera on the front to play the room into your eyes and adding the effects. Could make some good games like that. A ghost game might work well, would be pretty scary

Life, for me, is interactive enough.
Yay! Hoorah! Game and military applications. Awesome.
Too much looking at screens/virtual interaction and not enough real life.

Do Not Want!

Very true, but it looks like the right steps so we can get there one day, maybe sooner then we think

It's amazing technology! Just imagine this technology adopted by the video game industries...WOW

(Sorry for my bad English).

Indeed. Imagine putting on a head-set and walking around your house, hunting Aliens that are out to get you.

Amazing if applied correctly.

It's amazing to think that a culture with so many Buddhist temples, dedicated to living life, and just enjoying the world as it is, also lives at the other end of the spectrum. They have super high tech, as well as super down to earth. I will say that it is absolutely incredible seeing what the tech will be in the future, but at the same time, its going to mean less and less time spent out-doors.

On one hand this is really cool. But, something about it reminds me of the scene of Tom Cruise walking through a shopping area and he was constantly being inundated with 3-dimensional ads that were tailored to him and only he could see. This could conceivably affect humankind in a negative way in creating a means for someone to live out a false reality as a means of escaping real life. You know the technology will only get better as will the graphics. Sony could possibly even create a scenario whereby someone is unable to differentiate the real from the unreal. I know it may seem like negative thinking on my part. But, I think that in the wrong hands something like this could be very bad.

Also, isn't it bad enough that some people play video games all day long and now we have this? I could see people never wanting to leave their living rooms because it seems so perfect and serene in their holographic beach.

Very true mate.
possibly this type of technology could very well be a new type of social addiction in the future also; capable of creating some mental condition that will bring a lot of work to psychiatrists, and very difficult to resolve!

It's not projected tho, it is simply displayed on a screen.

What you were seeing in the video is not what the audience was seeing in front of them, they were watching it on a screen.

You would either need VR glasses to see it as it was in 3D in front of you. Otherwise, it's not different that having your webcam turned on and some webcam software that adds elements to the video feed, like goggles, hats, moustaches, etc... it just knows how to interpret a 3D environment so that the added elements can interact with a live scene. Again, like the webcam except much more advanced.

All the man see's is the book. He needs to be looking at the screen in order to know whats happening in the virtual environment.

Everything you saw on the video is entirely INSIDE a compouter and only visible on a screen or monitor.

Awesome, more high tech entertainment.

Why can't people focus their scientific and creative genius toward solving problems, not find new and more impressive ways of distracting people from the state of the world. I'd prefer to interface with nature than a simulation of it.

This tech was developed with a distinct profit motive, and until that motive is no longer selfish and profitable, people will never truly be free of this consumer magnetism of must-have must-pay.

The adult industry is going to drive this technology like Sea Biscuit.

Heads up displays for soldiers will benefit too. Target tracking and identification. Maybe like in terminator.

Very cool.

Is pretty cool. Imagine putting on your AR glasses and suddenly you're on the holodeck on the enterprise. Now just put on your AR gloves and you can feel what you see. But the value of this is not just entertainment. I'm sureit has a broad range of uses in industry. I don't even know where to begin!

People in the future won't need to identify things. They could just point their carmara at the object they want to identify and use the cloud. Maybe people who wear glasses will have optics installed on them and chips so that they don't need to carry around a portable for these purposes. Think about millions of people connected. Some people might join up with authorities to have the people they see identified just in case any of them are known criminals or terrorists. All sorts of possibilites. They can hire some goons to imagine all sorts of ideas then hire contractors maybe to find a way to apply the ideas in reality.
