As the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, the unprivileged of America are becoming increasingly comfortable, so it seems, with the widening inequality sweeping the States. Why aren't more people calling for change as their rights are being ripped away and big businesses reap their benefits? Jordan Estevao of National People's Action says that while a culture of fear is silencing many, public uproar against the unjust is only increasing.

So are we indeed doomed or are enough of us waking up to this to make a difference? Is 2012 going to be just another election or will it be the revolution we need real change for the people. Not the fake hope and change for the worst Obama and the rest of his cousins our puppet president.
Will you finally break the chains stop the wars throw out the feds and the fatcat bankers and corporate shills? Here in Canada we just put a total tool of the NOW in power for 4 more years.

Just saying I hope America does better vote for real change from someone you can believe like Ron Paul.

That goes against the mantra of taxing the rich less because a 'poor man never gave me a job'.

The idea that income inequality doesn't matter because those living in poverty are just lazy or stupid or both.

The concept that entitlement spending is the source of all our woes.

The national labor movement must be broken at every turn because it's bad for business owners.

Too many government regulations are the reason we can't hire people, not because of anything else.

I want to see real change. Real reform. Obama has got to be the worst of the worst, so far. The momentum needs to swing back in our (the peoples) direction.

I just hope this current crop of folks running says something that I want to hear.

I'm confused. You appear to be Canadian yet come across as if you have a vested interest the outcome of the American political process. Are you an Agent Provocateur or do you just enjoy stoking foreign politics?

"Just saying."

Thank you both for the best laugh I have had in months. Two of the most vocal Obama haters that run all over ATS complaining about his "socialism" and his wanting to "spread the wealth" are also here, complaining about Obama because of the problem of some people having more wealth than other people.

I wish ATS had an Irony forum.
