Anyone else having power outages?

Right where I live the whole neighborhood is out of power, is that happening to you guys too?( Houston , Texas)

I hear theres alot of power outages in Libya right now lawl.

Yes, but only because we keep getting HAMMERED by violent storms

We've had quick outages and surges here but that because we've had storms roll through here everyday this week.

Have had several power outages in my area:

Citywide power outages in Texas City and La Marque turned off the lights to thousands of customers twice early Friday.

The first outage forced the shutdown of the Valero refinery in Texas City and excessive flaring at other petrochemical facilities, emergency management officials said.

Last month a power outage caused ALL of the oil and chemical refineries down here to have problems (see the BP thread in my signature) and resulted in a "shelter in place" warning to be issued.
