I know a majority of the people are very cynical in their views of the US Government, but is it possible the US Government could "wake up" and rebel against TPTB? Think of the threat we could impose, being the most powerful nation on Earth.

Only hope is if our Military wakes up. Without the military realizing the people who send them into wars dont care about them and that they are no longer protecting the people of the United States but hurting them by creating enemies and taxing us to death they will always have the upperhand.

One word.... GREED. Their love of money will not make them change. They are a cancer that needs to be destroyed.

TPTB? There are many cabals, no one group runs everything. They are not even on the same playbook other than a common goal of power for their group. They may work together from time to time, but it rarely lasts long. When there are only two left, thats when the SHTF.

No. Its not possible "the government" will wake up. Why? Because "the government" is an abstract generalization, and not a real thing. It is a collective comprised of people, individual people, who are already in various stages of "awakeness" about our problems.

The problem in truth is less "the government" as a whole, than it is "the people" as a whole. We do what TV tells us to do, we vote how TV tells us to vote, and then we complain that the people the TV told us to vote for dont do what WE want them to do, they do what the people who paid to put them on TV tells them to do.

We cant possibly be much stupider and still walk around unaided. In America, "the government" can only be a reflection of the people, and it is. It reflects our stupidity and apathy, and our willingness to take orders from the same wealthy sociopaths who tell our politicians what to do.

How can we expect them to ignore the wishes of the sociopaths when we dont?

Well said! There are some good guys working behind the scenes to influence things but they are limited by us just as you said.
